β β β β β Pad thai is the basic dish of every thai restaurant and the noodle is the very basic of a pad thai. Having this is akin to chewing on rubber. Look at the thickness of the noodle with a stainless steel fork for comparison. Dry and leathery that even douses of fish sauce couldnβt save. Any char kuey teow is better than this RM13 plate of bs.

β β β β β Environment, parking, hygience, service and preparation time are ok. Price is considered affordable. However, I couldnβt give 5 stars because 1)toasted peanut for Thai somtam is not fresh, itβs already sluggish. 2) taste of somtam is very mild, should add more fish sauce and palm sugar to make it thicker and richer. 3) porkbones in TomSeb should be cooked longer to make it more tender. The Thai-fried fish is the bomb, highly recommend.

β β β β β Hidden gem of a Thai restaurant, we ordered their signature Thai salted baked tilapia fish and it was good and tasty and comes with basil, lettuce and pho noodles plus 2 types of chilli dip. 6 of us enjoyed the meal together with other side dishes like tempura kangkong and clear tom yam seafood soup.

β β β β β A hidden gem among the residences in kuchai lama. Quiet, cosy and a simple good Thai food is what Yad Yead Pochana offers to their customers. Iβve never been able to come across a relatively affordable and good Thai standard cooking in KL. But this restaurant have proved me otherwise. The Thai level spiciness is there and the nice salty fish sauce aroma is evident in their dishes. Their in house chef is a Thai who have moved to KL and you can rest assured that this restaurant will satisfy your Thai cravings if you ever miss traveling to Thailand. I will definitely be back for more to try more of their dishes. Reminds me a little of the back alley hawkers in Bangkok. Simple good Thai food.
