โ โ โ โ โ During the June FMCO, I ordered a personalised seal with my Chinese name on it online, and the customer service was superb! They answered my queries with upmost detail and gave sound advice regarding the intricaties of the seal's design, proving over and over again that they are true artists who take great pride in their work and have deep experience under their belt. From start to end, they ensured that I had a great customer experience, and I was beyond delighted with my seal when it arrived.
I hope after this, when I am able to travel interstate again to Malacca, I can spare a visit to the shop. For tourists both from abroad or local, I highly recommend purchasing such beautiful and precious items from them as well as visiting their shop to see their artistry (which I heard from others is very, very mesmerising as well). Thank you, Tham Siew Inn Artist Gallery, for giving me a seal that will journey with me throughout my entire life :)

โ โ โ โ โ A not so hidden gem in Melaka. If you are an art lover, plan some time, because the work of Tham and his sons draws you in for a while. There is a wonderful book of his work that he will autograph for you if he is there. I can't wait to grab a glass of wine and dive into it.

โ โ โ โ โ A hidden highlight of Malacca, if you are an appreciater of art, especially that of localsโChinese seals (custom made for any), watercolor and acrylic paintings, pencil drawings, opal jewelry, millenia-old Chinese coins, and even original postcards and bookmarks. The building is one of old architecture and incredibly peaceful; the artists very kind and willing to discuss the art. I look forward to coming back just for this gallery!

โ โ โ โ โ We found this place while taking a stroll around jonker Street and it was such a delight to be here. The artist's son runs the gallery and he even shared and explained us Tham Siew's works. It's has a couple of rooms filled with his paintings and also some books about his work. There was a beautiful courtyard and a sitting area too. One of the most beautiful, classic and chill art gallery I've ever been to.
They had such a beautiful collection of postcards priced at 2 ringgit which is a very decent price. You can buy them as souvenirs (your friends will totally love it) as they are nothing like the ordinary postcards that you get in the other shops.

โ โ โ โ โ We visited to have a look around. Paintings are beautiful. Got chatting to one of the artists in the family run business who showed us their impressive stamp engravings. We ended up getting a personalised stamp with our last names printed on a local carved stone. The artist was friendly, flexible, relaxed and happy to show and tell us about all of the art. The prices are super reasonable with cheaper and more expensive options for a genuinely skillful piece of art to take home. Really recommend a visit and consider taking home a lovely personalised gift for home. Brilliant place to visit in Malacca. Ian and Aspen.
