★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my whole family member of 26 members to this villa for a getaway. This place is NOT for fussy people as its located in the forest it would definitely have some uninvited guests (bugs & insects). We totally enjoyed our stay as it looks just the same as it is in the photos showed on their website. The water pressure was great as we have been to many homestay with poor water pressure making the shower feel less comfortable. All of their staff were helpful and friendly as well. I would definitely return near future for a getaway again. Kudos to The Cedar !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This villa is awesome with all the facilities. Swimming pool is the best infinity pool type . Karaoke room , bbq area , kitchen with all equipments and huge home . I have read some reviews it’s totally different then what I read it’s nice place . This place is not for fussy people because it’s in middle of plantation area with jungle . This place are only for those who love being in natural place jungle etc .. the Indonesia helper was very helpful . Totally this place is awesome . We didn’t even bother to go waterfall we just spend our quality time in that villa . The smell is there when is windy but not that terrible as what as mention in some reviews : as I mention this place not for fussy people !!!

Everything was TOP-Tier to my experience.
1. Scenery was great with a beautiful sunset view.
2. nice river right behind the estate for some family gathering.
3. huge and well furnished house for a comfortable stay with a pool table for indoor entertainment.
4. Incredible INFINITY POOL with impeccable view
5. Just the right place for me and my family and friends to reconnect

The road is bad. 4x4 or standard car is fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience at the villa as it was like how they had described "a city getaway". It was rather calming and one that allowed my mind to come to peace after the chaos of the city. The swimming pool was amazing with the calming feel combined with the cold water as one to allow all the worries of the city to go away whilst having a barbeque at night giving the whole experience a well rounded impression. I would indefinitely return to here once again as it is truly something that everyone should try at least once in their life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best view villa! Have huge swimming pool & have more than 8 rooms equipped with queen bed & toilet waterheater for each room. Host provide the charcoal for our bbq. All room have aircond. Karaoke till you drop all night long! Have kids room with plenty of toys. Kitchen is open area & all utensils provided ( refrigerator, microwave). Host provided towel & amenities. Total 16 adult & 8 children.
The cons only the road to the main entrance of the villa need to fix. Recommended using 4x4 or suv. Me using Alphard, still fine, just need to take sometime to skip the roadhole.
Great place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The villa itself was extremely clean and very well maintained. Scenery is amazing and serene.
Houses up to 20 pax. Rooms are decent sized.
The water supply is from a well (that is what I understood), though a water dispenser is provided for drinking water. The infinity pool is clean and well maintained (Note that the pool is not chlorinated) .
The kitchen needs a lot of work. The shelves in the fridge are broken and the fridge itself is not cold. The piping system needs significant improvement and upgrade.
The provided bedsheets were washed but not clean (some dirt stains still visible). For the price that is paid, the value is somewhat questionable.
The road leading up to the villa is not well maintained (potholes and bumps) as the road is part of an oil palm estate. The undercarriage of a regular sedan would very likely get scraped. SUVs would have no issues.
However, overall, I am impressed with the upkeep of this place. No WiFi provided, and mobile coverage was so-so (4G coverage, but speed was not great).
All in all, the villa is great for a vacation away from tech and busy schedules.
