This outlet has a very cosy environment. Well lit with green concept. The deco is very pleasant, giving a serene ambiance. Nice sandwiches and good Gibraltar coffee which was essentially a ristretto with milk. Opens early so you can come for a quiet breakfast.

Crowded. A focused branch with very high sale rates but no longer gives cafe atmosphere. The place is so packed every single day with night crowds being pasar malam, worse when people talking loud. There are few less busy hours for you to be lucky and get comfortably seated, mornings and early noons like it. At this rate the outlet should already expand in size to be cozier as how a coffee house should. Not too much to expect from a branch that made fortune from very high volumes on everyday full house drink-ins and moreover takeaways, after all the average price per cup is from RM15. Not that we demand 2 doors considering Ground floor rates but at least 2-storeys as how most hotspots in TTDI are doing. Instead "space maximisation" went by adding 30% seats, cramming same single space with tables made smaller to fit more occupants and what's once crowded gets more crowded today. Irony the major renovation that took place during pandemic resulted a layout that contradicted social distancing more, whereas original layout before pandemic socially distances better with outdoor seatings available. The tables now are so close we even gotta see who's at the next before choosing a seat, if there's really a seat to choose from. Removing outdoor tables to focus the area for takeaway queues, nope, people still queue for takeaways inside, not just that it's cultured but also as most of the times the staffs are busy at the counter and hardly could face towards the walk-thru window while customers still got to walk-in to preview the wall menu board. It is more useful to restore the outdoor seatings again. Unimpressive ambience with a good cup of coffee is still something to be missed, but even the coffee today is not giving. Engaging trainees to make coffee for your customers is a recipe for disaster. Basically letting customers be experimental space to train your trainees. Customers pay a high fixed price expecting a consistent taste crafted by well trained barista, yet we're getting trials and errors by trainees half of the times, even coffees by 'fresh grad' baristas aren't as consistent. The taste is much sensitive on hot coffees with some mixture went beyond adjustable. Good cups got me repeat while off cups with 'its OK I'd fix again at home' rate made me gamble on how the taste goes next time, but with more overwhelming crowds and another bad cup of coffee today, perhaps no more TTDI CBTL for me next time. It's getting further from what I paid for. Customer service? Not bad. Two times walked-in clearly requested 'having here' and they served in takeaway cups. Wasted paper cups & plastic lids and got my order confused with someone else's. A female staff even went straightforward with "this isn't your coffee miss" lol so nice. Communication wise some crew are excellent, most are average while some just dont know how to talk to a customer, not that it's rude but talking to a customer like to a little brother/sister is considerably hostile. This even held customer hesitated to walk to the drink counter to fix their coffee, thinking the hostility they might get from some especially female staff who previously gave bad impression, while the male staff at the other side of the counter wasn't helping either, unattentive and ignored customer's request that got customer waited for too long.

3/4 of the staffs are downright cold and hostile. Aside of the manager who's excellent in PR and customer service (name is Hazrul right), the rest of the team recruitment seems gone wrong. Some are okay, shy or quiet is also OK, but I'm talking about majority of the crews who looked like they just came out working from a factory, don't talk to customers properly and calling customers for coffees like calling for their workers. I don't expect excellent PR from coffee makers anyhow, but at least be nice. People are paying high price for each cup of coffees. If you have common sense and humanity you'd know to be corteuous even without training. I got better services from RM2 roadside drink sellers.

My favourite Coffee Bean outlet. The baristas are very friendly, and theyll somehow remember the orders of the usual patrons, talk about top notch customer service!

CBTL is probably my fave place for consistently good service and good food. This outlet was nothing short of that as well. Special shout-out to Hazrul and his team for being courteous and patient even though it’s busy. The cakes and pastries are really good. My fave is the jalapeΓ±o cheese bagel with salmon. The carrot cake and apple crumble also very good. Good place to chill and have a good time with your friends or family. Update: Don’t bother with the peaches and cream tart, very hard tart base. Much prefer the apple crumble ! Chai latte is also nice

Great drinks, beautiful ambience after the renovation. Seats are clean and comfortable and the cleanliness of the bathroom is also well kept. Can get a bit busy in the late afternoons and there are limited seats with power plug access. It can get a bit hot and stuffy when the shop is near full capacity. Parking is not an easy feat here.
