★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Palm Mall, paid Rm499 for hair color and relaxing. After relaxing, i washed it after 3 days and my hair was straight on some parts and curly on other some parts.. went back to them and show them my hair and they did it for me again.. and washed it 3 days after and once again it was the same. No changes at all.. In fact, it became worst, can feel my hair damaged and very stiff.. that is not what i paid for !!!! i feel like i was conned by these people.. If you are charging people that much, atleast provide a quality service.. no one wants to pay 499 for a hair that doesnt even last for 3 days!! Worst ever experience.. not only they wasted my time and money, they have also damaged my hair as well. Never ever going back again! Biggest regret choosing this place to do my hair.. Other ordinary saloon can provide quality service at a lesser price..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here many times before as the service was good. I'm planning to visit again this week but the person in charge for WhatsApp and Facebook were very irresponsive. I asked for their latest service charge on 1st Nov, they only replied on the next day 2nd Nov. Once they replied, I asked other questions whether they have available slot for certain day, they did not reply until today.. Asked in Facebook as well, they asked me back whether I'm the one who texted them using my no. I said yes, and they said will get back... until now, nothing.
Maybe for some people might think ohh, it's only within timeframe of 1st Nov-3rd Nov (2-3 days is short for some people, but to answer only 2 questions within that short period ? which they answered only 1 btw. LOL)
I'm not a new customer. I have repeated visits to this saloon and their responsiveness were just nice back then (eventhough sometime they said will get back to me, but didn't).
In this case, I wanted to book an appointment for me, my mom, sister and husband (4 pax). But they didn't respond fast enough.. showing how reluctant they are to take us as customers. Very disappointing for a loyal customer like me. (Make me think if they even treat me like this, how do they treat new customer btw)
Anyway, I have booked an appointment with another good saloon (in case you are wondering, MODE saloon have better responsiveness and higher rating than this so called The Color Shop).
I rarely gives rating on Google, but I do when I especially happy or disappointed. In this case, I'm frustrated. The Color Shop was my fav saloon. But their extremely poor respond and service makes me re-think.
Thank you The Color Shop for at least used to provide me good service (in term of responsiveness). I don't care who take charge of your social media account or WhatsApp business number (even if it's the manager). You really need to educate that person in term of customer service and responsiveness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst salon experience ever. Went in for a hair perm in Feb 2019, owner told me my hair is most suited for cold perm and not digital perm. I've permed my hair at least three times in my entire lifetime and NO SALON has ever told me my hair is not suited for digital perm. Never mind, decided to go ahead with it. After the staff permed and washed my hair at the salon, my hair was completely straight LOL no curls at all. She styled my hair and told me "the curls will come out soon". Nope, no curls. My hair was wavy in some sections, but completely straight in others. My hair was so dry I had to undergo multiple treatments to make it look normal.
It is now November 2019. I endured 9 months of dry and matted hair with totally no shape and no curls, please see photos. I had to cut my hair every month and do treatment bimonthly to try to restore my hair to its original state. This salon ruined my hair for almost a year and my hair will never be the same again. I will inform my friends and family NEVER to come here again. I can say this is the worst decision I've made in my life.
