After reading so much raved reviews about this lil vegetarian place, we finally found a chance to visit. We had quite a lil feast for 2, and it was true to every positive review, the food was just simply FANTASTIC. We shared pani poori, ganga aloo chaat, gobi pakora, rava and masala thosai, as well as mango and avocado lassi. Their dishes were delightful, especially the pani poori - every bite an explosion of flavours and great texture! Masala thosai was v tasty as well, with scrumptious potato filling. I am SUPER excited to go back and try out more deliciousness!

We ordered the veg briyani, the vegetables platter, and the standard thali. The briyani was oily, and the platter was okay. The only thing that was delicious was the thepla bread. The ice cream was good, but the masala tea was not. All other dishes were mediocre.  It was quite disappointing as we have read great reviews about this place, but it didn't really meet our expectations.

Amazing vegetarian Indian food with a great host that serves to your desire... Really liked the thali, pranic juice, masala Chai, ayurvedic roti, vedhmi, khandvi, bhaji pau.. Best place in Malaysia for pure veg food... just can't say enough..

I’ve found my new go-to Indian restaurant. Tucked into the row of restaurants on the cozy back street of Lorong Kurau is the delightful vegetarian gem, The Ganga Café. Though this restaurant was a new find for me. But the new attractions on their menu brought new standards, while we were at it. The changes go beyond just additions to the menu. The space itself has been renovated, and the restaurant now has a more contemporary feel to it, with its clean, simple décor. The owners, Meeta and Prabodh, could not have been more welcoming, and it was clear from the moment we sat down to chat how much pride they take in their work and their dedication to providing healthy food that doesn’t skimp on taste. With their garden just behind the restaurant supplying many of the ingredients for their dishes, they are taking ‘local and organic’ to the next level. And the health benefits in their food don’t just come from the freshness of their ingredients (though that is a big part of it). They are also careful to balance the ingredients – not to let any of the fermented dishes ferment for too long, and not to go overboard with any of the spices so that the flavors mix well and complement each other instead of doing battle. As Prabodh puts it, “There is no reason to sacrifice flavor in the process of creating healthy meals.” And I will vouch for the fact that absolutely no flavor was sacrificed in the making of these meals. Every dish was tasty, and the variety was impressive.

This is our first visit here, tho I’ve heard & read about this place in a couple of occasions.. Drinks came in quite early..masala tea & ginger tea were as expected.. Paani poori is good, as in okay.. added fillings could perhaps make some diff? plus a pinch of salt.. Veg platter … lacked garnishing and surprisingly it took quite some time to arrive, yet none of the veg were hot…just spicy…plating can be improved ?. Overall the place seems to be crowded, attracting all walks of folks.

Tucked in a secluded area in Lorong Kurau, this place is a must-go for vegetarian food lovers. The menu has extensive vegetarian and vegan options. From the time we walked in, the customer service was amazing, although the place was packed. Service was quick and the food was really tasty. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead during busy times.

Ganga Café is an iconic restaurant in Bangsar. I’m sure most of Klang Valley residents have heard of it from someone who loved their food! ? Comfort vegetarian food! ? I won’t even suggest what to order, as everything there is super delicious! Better go hungry and order the whole menu! ?
