I think every timepiece salesperson should do the same like Andy because as a connoisseur, we collect timepieces not only just for its value but the sentimental reasons too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am pretty dissuaded by the borderline disrespectful service at your Lot 10 outlet.
The story goes - As I led my cousin and his mate, both humbly outfitted, into your esteemed outlet on a quiet mid-Monday, we were met with an awkward exchange of eye contact from a store personnel whose name began with the initial A. I could’ve sworn that he offered no greetings but even if he did, I wouldn’t have heard it over the wall of apathy built upon his perpetual sedentary position. Forgive me if I’m wrong but isn’t it basic manners to, at minimum, rise ever so slightly in acknowledgement and greet a customer in the line of service? And oh boy were we only getting started.
Though disheartened, I called upon my grown up half and kept quiet while my cousin, unaware of the apparent disrespect, went ahead and asked about the price of a “model name”, in Mandarin. To which “A” reluctantly responded that everything in display aren’t for sale, in English. He added that not everyone can purchase a Rolex, and that you’d need to build a worthy profile first. Now at this point I was pretty livid that not only was he impatient throughout the dialogue, or the fact that he understood Mandarin but chose to respond in English and a mouthful of condescendence, he also made no bones about implying that my cousin and his mates were not worthy of a Rolex.
A few barely held together nods and forceful grins later, we walked out feeling certain that we’ll never be back in the foreseeable future.
Now maybe Hour Glass is too big to fail in such a demand over supply landscape, maybe Hour Glass doesn’t need no stinking revenue from no everyday Joe, but if what “A” did there represents the values of Hour Glass, I’ll be sure to mind my distance and wish you the best of success.

He is polite, professional and most importantly passionate to share his own experience and the story of each watch model. I think this is the reason why he has been in watch industry for more than 35 years. I really look forward to buying watch from him and believe that he is able to assist me on getting my desired watches.
