Heard about this new place about 2 weeks back decided to give it a try today. Started off with the pork belly and it was on point. Now trying on the pork burger, looking forward to it. All ala carte dishes are going for RM15 nett now till end of April 2018 (just come over), except for the Aussie steak.

They have very yummy food here ! Loved their pork burgers. Also goes really well their house wines! Notable mentions are their popcorn chicken and mozzerella cheese sticks.

visited on a slow weekend night. Pork-based menu with quirky specialties involving salted duck eggs. Reasonably price given the upmarket neighbourhood, comfortable dining atmosphere and portions are satisfying

Second visit and I'm still in love. On the previous visit, I got the smoked duck arriabatta. Loved it. This time, I tried the Rempah Chicken Popcorn & Salted Duck Egg Pasta. RCP was a great snack. The skin was flavourful and meat was juicy. Just wish the marinate seeped into the meat more. Interesting tangy sauce (is it turmeric?). Pasta was delicious but be warned, EXTREMELY RICH. Didn't really jump on the salted egg bandwagon, but if you're a fan then you'll probably like this. Might want to request for the pasta to be cooked with chilli as illustrated in the menu. I requested for chilli flakes and it made a big difference. Love love the food here.

Weird taste - pork burger was overloaded with chilli sauces. Curry battered fish was overpower by curry powder taste. Cheap food though. Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiete place for a couple of beers and chit chat.

Update 2 June 2018: Appalling doesn't even come close to what I experienced today. 1. Ordered beer. Server disappeared, beer left on the bar with no one to serve. 2. Waited for food for over an hour. 3. Server even asked what we ordered at around 30 minutes after we complained. 4. Food was served to others who came much after us. 5. Burger buns were hard as rock. Old buns? 6. Pork patty was dry and hard. 7. Beef patty contained NUMEROUS amounts of those hard to chew tendon like parts. 8. Portion of pork belly and glass noodles was suitable for someone who's 80 years old. Portion of the same dish was 1.5 times larger when I ordered that a week ago. 9. Pork belly was tough to chew. 10. Finally, the restaurant had the gall to charge us service charge 11. Chips were overly fried. I think it's high time Malaysians reject the forced service charge and pay what you think is worth it. And the food shouldn't be advertised as rm15nett when you're shoving service charge down customers' throats. Should be rm15+ then. My first visit 2 months ago, I jokingly told my friend "if they keep this rm15 promo up, it'll jeopardise quality." I should probably look for a job in fortune-telling. April 2018: Food is absolutely great! Who would have thought of curry battered fish and chips? The food are on promo now where it is rm15nett for any food on the menu except the steak. There's no written date for when the promo will end so quickly grab it while you can. Drinks are decently priced for Bangsar standards. The mozzarella sticks were great too.

Tldr: Good steam punk sequence ambiance and a very competent bartender. We arrived too late for dinner but we did sit into the closing hours sampling what they had on their drinks menu. They were unfortunately out of Kirin but they did still have almost everything else, our waiter apologetically told us. Their virgin blueberry mojito was very nice - like a incredibly fancy ribena with mint and blueberry chunks. They also had a wonderful elderberry cocktail which was the incredibly easy to drink. Their milkshake was very good too.

Don't be fooled by the pictures. The servings are huge and very filling. The staff are nice and polite (except I felt offended a bit when they tried to take my steak that I was struggling to finish). The food is absolutely delicious. The steak was so perfect that I wanted to eat it all (that's why I didn't want them to take it away even if it was just two bites left!). It's definitely one of the best places I've dined in. Who would've thought roasted garlic was so delicious?
