I signed up for this course at 8 weeks and attended it at 26 weeks. I knew I needed to be informed about birthing, especially in Malaysia. Too many of my friends have had their first baby without knowing what they truly want from their birthing experience because this just ain't something they teach you in school! I knew I needed reliable information from a reputable source and Namrita is that person. Her experience with birth and birth in Malaysia (this is important!), coupled with her education in Psychology, Lamaze and Hypno Birthing really shone through. My biggest fear? Knives. Hence an unnecessary C-Sec would haunt me, I needed to be as informed as possible about all the options for supporting a natural birth and also to be comfortable with an emergency C-Sec should that be the final (final) option. What I found most useful on the Birthing Course was to know that I had options, I learned about all the potential possibilities and outcomes of my choices. Especially what all the medications do, how they affect you, the baby, the potential outcomes and risks. I got to weigh it all up and use that information to make my own informed decision. How often have we Googled something on the spot when given a choice, only to be scrolling for hours and not getting a conclusive answer? I did not want to be doing that while in labour! Will my husband have the answers? Ha ha. I wanted all the, scientific based, latest and up-to-date information before the big day. My husband and I attended the course together and I'm so glad he was there too because now we can make the decisions together. Most importantly, this course has given me confidence. Knowledge is power and power is confidence. I'm no longer feeling like a deer in the headlights, dreading the pain or fearing the unknown. I feel informed and ready for whatever I may encounter on the big day. I would highly recommend Namrita and this course.

Hey everyone, me and my husband took the 'Birth in a weekend - antenatal class' and it was truly my best decision! It not only prepared us for everything that is going to come on our way in this journey but made us so much more aware of the various options we have other than the conventional methods followed generally everywhere. I also felt my husband being so much more involved with me after taking these classes , which is exactly what every mommy to be would want! The classes have empowered us and has helped us believe that the entire journey of pregnancy is absolutely natural and that if we listen to our body everything will be perfect!! Thankyou Namrita for being so kind and supportive and always willing to go that extra mile to talk to us even after the class was over! Namrita is very knowledgeable in her field and has a very engaging style when educating others. The course feels equipped in preparing couples for birth; from knowing what questions to ask your oby/gyn to managing pain and having your partner play an active part in the whole process. We also took away some of the long term impacts certain procedures can have on the mother and baby. You leave the course feeling more empowered than when you start out, knowing how much of the birth process is within your control. We highly recommend taking the Birth in a Weekend program with Namrita.

My husband and I attended Namrita’s Newborn and Parenting Class last Sunday and it was the best decision we made! Namrita is super knowledgeable and her engaging presentation and interaction with each one of us are truly commendable! Both my husband and I had completed the class feeling well equipped, confident and calm having the knowledge to know what to expect especially handling a newborn as first time parents. Highly recommended for those who are keen to know more and just gaining the confidence to handle your baby from Day 1 when you take her home from the hospital! ♥️
