The Shore Oceanarium - Kampung Bunga Paya Pantai

Has a variety of species. You can buy food at the counter and feed the fish. To compare w aquaria KLCC, here has almost the same species like in aquaria except for sharks. Only small black tip shark and bamboo available if not mistaken. Here have many tanks but each tank is small. Aquaria KLCC has slightly less tanks but has larger tank size. Suitable to bring kids and has instagramable spots.

Everything is great and staff is super friendly but some of the aquarium is very inhumane.. big fishes trapped in a tiny tank, can see the second picture the giant fish is stuck in a tiny circle tank and circling until its face is red and hurt. Very clearly traumatised. The third pic also, big fish trapped in a small tank. U can see in the fifth tank is big but they put small fish. Very bad planning

It gives me a feel like in aquarium shop selling pet fish and reptiles . The touching pool is meant to let the visitor touch the star fish, horse shoe crab....but there is a no touching sign.? The 3D movie projection is too small .

No ticket needed there. ⭐Masuk pintu utama lepas tu ambik lif ke Tingkat Dua. ⭐Oceanarium betul2 depan 2D Cafe. ⭐Keluar lif terus ke belah kanan. Harga: Dewasa rm40, kanak2 sy x ingat. But total 2 dewasa, 2 kanak2 berumur 5 tahun & 3 tahun = rm126 (x termasuk harga mknn ikan rm10) Free Gift : 4 keychain souvenir & 4 of 3D glasses I spent around 1 hour in this place with my family. Worth every penny. Better than aquaria i think?❤️ What i like the most : 1. cheap souvenir shop 2. can feed fish 3. various knowledge about fishes, sea and river 4. augmented reality. very fun to look at with my children 5. All place is instagrammable!!!! love it !! u guys have to try it?? 10/10 for this place❤️ p/s: my 3 years old and a few small child from other visitors are very scared when enter this place. maybe because of the giant fishes and very dark place inside. not to mention the shark quest section? so please be careful when bring your babies/small children below 3 years old. hold them tight ya ? Tips for outsiders : dont come at peak hour i.e weekend. not only this place, every viral place in melaka are crowded during this time. Make sure if u want to visit melaka, search for a place that available for booking. especially restaurant around jonker street. I recommend: Ikan Bakar Muara Sg Melaka (can book early prior 1@2 days. can choose menu and they will prepare early for you. min rm50 deposit but worth it! usually people beratur for hours?) , 2. 13 Streets Coffee (need to park a bit far at Open Parking Jonker), 3. if u r non muslim can try Gravy Baby & Hard Rock Cafe (please book before coming here at weekend) 4. Cendol Red Bean at Kedai Melayu in front of Gravy Baby. 5. and all thailand restaurant available in melaka. all are tasty and halal?? 6. if u r staying around Alor Gajah near Simpang Ampat, please visit kedai makan Itik Salai area Freeport A Famosa. Plus kedai makan Cendol in that area have wide selection!! must try?❤️ 7. and lastly, Freeport A Famosa. I recommend the Mille Braisers 's Affegato with ice cream. The best coffee ever. Also their frozen yogurt selection are to die for ??☺️??( i love the berry cookies rolled ice cream)

Great place to see some fishes both salt and freshwater. I have been to many indoor aquariums and this one is pretty well maintained and enjoyable especially for children. For the ticket price it is worth visiting

Staff there is friendly, ticketing is fast, you may pay via cash, credit card and debit. Tickets are not that expensive, I went on hari raya, warga emas and kids are same rates RM 30, adults at 40+. Price rate and the attraction are at comfortable price. Especially you get a gift with every tickets purchased. There’s left and right area, left area is a touch pool, kids may put their hands in the pool area. There’s sink available to wash hands. Also there’s a place where a vacuum aquarium, I wish there’s staff there, went I was there, even when it stated “No Feeding” on it, there’s a family of 4 feeding it and the fish almost swim filling the space. I did tell them it’s no feeding. There’s a 3D movie area. You can stop by. Photos are super expensive. Didn’t buy.

Price at RM40, get free gift, get paper 3d glasses for 8D theater in the place that run movie for 5 minute. It's worth the price. Oh there's Mr. DIY in front of the aquarium main door for mom n dad shop later. ?

Well built aquarium. Positive: maintained well. Friendly staff. Guidance provided. Fun factor a lot for kids and also adults. Informative. Negative: There is no washroom facilities inside the Oceanarium.
