We stayed at The Danna Hotel and had a couple of dinners at “The Terrace”. The food, drinks and service is out of this world and I seriously wonder why they didn’t get a Michelin star rating yet. Char-grilled octopus and parpadelle with braided beef were incredibly delicious! The wine menue is extensive and we were always recommended the perfect fit for our taste and dish. If you’re on Langkawi - no matter where - go there for dinner. Seriously it cannot get a lot better than this (not even in Italy or at Michelin star rated restaurants).

We were amazed by the level of service here at Terrace restaurant! Absolutely professional. The same goes to food, its taste and look. It is slightly expensive at first sight but it is matching the service you receive. Also the pizzas during lunch time and afternoon are perfect!

My very first fine dining experience! My husband and I were overdressed but we doesn't feel awkward at all because the staffs are very friendly and kind, guide us and suggest us good food. And the food was good! The service is top notch, thank you The Terrace for making my birthday & first anniversary celebration a memorable one❤️

Great food and service by the crews. Ingredients are not of high range but food prices are of hotel price range. Their home made pastas are awesome.

Had the cod and the sea bass. Nice presentation but the food taste is not justified with the price. Service is excellent, which is the reason why I give them 2 stars. Also the tiramisu was too sweet. The chocolate balls on top of the tiramisu is of poor quality

Had the Christmas buffet here and everything was perfect! Though we were not staying at the hotel we felt very welcome from the moment we entered the hotel. Will definitely look to stay at The Danna for the next visit to Langkawi. The buffet was fantastic with enough variety to have trouble even tasting everything that looked great, and pretty much everything was great. As a special mention I'll have to say the chicken, lobster, and peppercorn beef as well as all the desserts were fantastic. The view is also very, very beautiful, especially during sunset. As a special mention, Nabila went above and beyond and made this feel like a place beyond 5 stars. Thanks for the great Christmas!

Came here to for dinner to celebrate my significant other's birthday as part of our weekend getaway at The Danna. The service was topnotch, staff was friendly and accomodating from the moment we stepped in till the moment we stepped out. The ravioli with lamb i ordered was definitely something i had never tried before and it was delicious. The cheese pieces were definitely a great touch to the dish. As i read that the Il Limone dessert is a must try, i ordered it too. Came in a lemon shape with delicious mousse filling after breaking it apart. We were lucky to have a private table away at the corner so it was nice. The dresscode was smart casual but there were still customers who were there in shorts and slippers which was disappointing, and i think it brings the formality of the restaurant down if it was to appear as fine dining restaurant. More disappointed with customers who don't even bother to adhere to the dresscode really... Overall we really enjoyed the food and kudos to the staff for attending to all of our needs!

Overall, the food was amazing! We had a few dishes to share and they were all so good. The highlights were their two homemade pasta dishes - braised beef cheek with pappardelle and tagliatelle with lobster tail (the level of umami in this dish was incredible). We also had the ravioli with slow braised lamb leg - the flavour of the lamb was delicious but unfortunately a bit dry. We also had the Australian beef tenderloin (medium rare) which was served with truffle beef jus - it was perfectly cooked and extremely flavourful. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and the cioccolato al caffe'. Unfortunately, I did not like the tiramisu - there was a lack of coffee flavour and overly sweet. The ciocoolato al caffe' on the other hand was good except for the odd jelly thing in the middle which I did not enjoy. Presentation wise, all the dishes were 10/10.
