★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking down memory lane.. Now this is real street food. “Thim Kee Steam Fish” is a roadside stall in Pudu that’s only open 4hrs a day (11am-3pm).
They offer limited choices of “tai chow” dishes and this allows them to ensure everything is a “house specialty” and taste absolutely yummilicious.
Today’s lunch with a buddy is just “cheong cheng fei chau” (steamed tilapia with fermented soy bean sauce) and blanched “yau mak” (blanched lettuce topped with deep fried garlic and hot oil).
