Tried the wanton noodle (large), their serving portion is good enough for two person. Very authentic local flavour.

Nice hainanese coffee ☕ with toasted bread butter ? and kaya. Perfect marriage!! The shop offers noodles in the menu too. Since the MCO 3.0 have been lifted, the shop closes at 10.00 pm.

First time coming here for breakfast with friends. Very crowded n noisy. Food was just a bit above average. The char kway teow was quite good. Other than than, nothing to shout about.

The coffee is good, the egg ham n cheese crossaint just soso. Maybe I should have ordered the butter and kaya one. The Wan Tan noodle is full of MSG, tasteless, made me thirsty for whole day.

We arrived at Thong Kee on a Friday morning. After queueing, just go and grab your seat. While waiting for a seat, someone else from behind us took the seats. ? The char kuey tiao was really, really good and had wok hei but not a big portion if you order regular. It's good if you want to mix and match different food to share with your family. Place your order separately at the back. Order coffee, croissants and muffins at the front. The muffin is English muffin (like McD breakfast version). The croissants are big and tasty! We ordered the butter and kaya, and ham and egg ones. Both were very, very good. So was the muffin (3-in-1). The coffee (kopi peng) was nice but order the big version if you like coffee haha. If you'd like to get some Bentong ginger nearby, go to Ling Kee kopitiam within walking distance. RM26/kg for the really good ones and RM16/kg for the decent ones. We got the RM16/kg one.

The OG Thong Kee branch from Bentong lives up to the hype. The toast were perfection and the wan ton mee noodles were pretty good too. Great flavour with thinner noodles for a more springy texture. The portion of the wan ton mee was huge too. The only comment was that the noodles had very little sauce so it was kinda dry

Visited Thong Kee over the weekend at bentong. Restaurant was packed! You literally need to fight over a table. But as expected since it’s a famous restaurant. Coffee was decent, nothing special. Buns were decent as well. Wantanmee was nice with the bentong toupok. Worth a return visit? Nope.
