★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Kolo Mee is hard to come by especially when you live outside of sarawak. Since covid my family hadn't been able to taste the real kolo Mee..... Until today.
Tian Tian's lady boss is from Sibu and I only came to know about her kolo Mee from Facebook Post sent by a friend. Decided to come try and oh boy, it passes the test of a kuching boy.
The sarawak Laksa is equally as good and reasonable priced.
This will be my weekly affair from now on. The best thing is, it's not far from where I live. We used to go to a Farlim stall but the quality is very inconsistent.

The best Kolo Mee I have had out of Sarawak thus far.
The springy noodles is exactly as the original.
Call for the “white” version which doesnt use the dark soy sauce which we peninsular people prefer. The plain white version is as original as it gets.
The seasoning. Spot on.
The chasiu slices, spot on!! Down to the colour and the slight tinge of sweetness on the surface without the caramel of local versions
Heck, even the posters are from Sarawak and you see things like Wheat Grass drinks and 3 layer teas and Teh C Special!!
Must go if you craze simple authentic Sarawakian food
