β β β β β This is a return trip. The place has been restructured, renovated and improved. All for the better. There wasn't rooms left so I had to stay in a dorm. It's comfortable and sufficient. Most of time I would be out on the beach or just busy with an activity. There is now a dive shop here run by William. He's very friendly and chatty. Meanwhile Cabana is run by Sham, Pek and the crew. Awesome fellars who speaks and communicate well. The accomodation comes with breakfast and allowed to kayak, SUP and even the use of bean bags. Staying at this location (about 500m-700m from Tekek jetty) is convenient and accessible. There's a duty free shop nearby. There's a mini mart opposite with tax free beer and bicycles for rent. I have nothing to complain and I should really get a loyalty card from Cabana ?.

β β β β β What a pure service. The Restaurant / bar is only opened to guests staying there and the staff is quite arrogant. We didn't even get a drink. We were cycling and really thirsty. I've never been treated worst. @staff, Take your sign down from the main road!!!!

β β β β β Wonderful experience here, facing a vast stretch of beach with soft clean sand. Itβs a privilege that nature here is still so pristine & well maintained/protected, perfect for many snorkeling, diving and other beach/water activities.
The room with the best view is the rooftop room or we call it the Acoustics Treetop Villa ? because it faces frontwards the ocean and beach, with a perfect corner for acoustics when you play your music.
Sham (owner) is an amazing guy, great vibes all around. Stay here, meet new friends and leave with happy memories. The story of Tioman Cabana is beautiful, it has a come a long way and hosted many local & international guests while it is also an active contributor to going green and local community programmes.
The experience of staying here is unique, liberating, fun with high camaraderie; better than a 5 star hotel because the memories gained here will last a lifetime ?

β β β β β We only got a drink which was a Sirap Bandung. The rosy flavour was pleasant but it could definitely use more it of and more milk as it was quite diluted. The place was a nice place to sit and hang out though. Nice view as it was on an upper floor, people there were nice and I was told that they put effort into producing less waste and trash. A more environmentally friendly place, I mean. Would recommend. I would probably visit again but to try other other foods/drinks and support the environmental conscious efforts

β β β β β We had our dinner here on the second night. It's located next to the beach. Ambience is nice and happening. If you are looking for a quiet dinner place then it's not recommended. Price wise not really cheap. We had ordered a chicken burger, a rice with chicken masak lemak, a rice with lamb cooked with black pepper sauce and a coconut milk shake. Total bill is RM96. They are pretty slow in serving our food. We have waited 1.5 hours for our food to be served.

β β β β β OK food (good taste, rather small portions for the price). No live music that night. Nice cats.
I had grilled squid. Back home I got a burger elsewhere as still really hungry.
I heard the place is nice when live music is being played, else, if you simply want a tasty AND filling meal, just go elsewhere.
