★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bread is soft and tasty it goes well with creamy butter. Johorean call it "Roti naik" but Singaporean call it "Roti pound". However you have to preorder/call to buy it as it will be sold out if you intend to 'just walk in' purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are JB (that's Johor Bahru) born and bred, then you would love Tok Ayah Roti Naik, which literally translates into Grandad Rising Bread. Not to say that those from outside JB will not enjoy the smell and taste of fresh baked bread. Available fresh from the oven or frozen for later enjoyment, these slightly sweetened buns are just delightful.
