An assuming kopitiam in the center of Kuala Lumpur. Easy to miss but definitely a germ! Passed by countless times without entering the store. The wanton mee is definitely worth trying. This store is a great complimentary to Alor Street - given how Alor Street only opens in the afternoon, this store allows patrons to get their healthy dose of breakfast, before coming back to Alor Street for amazing dinner.

old school self made wan tan mee. have been eating here since 20-30 yrs ago. and they were there since. since the last 10 years have avoided this place in lieu of traffic. Recently i went back and the taste was just as good. Noticed that they have now passed on to the 3rd generation. tried two styles of WTM, black and white dry WTM. noted that the old folks are still around. brings back nostalgic memories.

Nice old spot with very friendly owners. Had the char siew wantan mee wasn't disappointed but did find it middle of the road at best. Would go back if I was in the area and hungry but better places abound in KL so won't be making a special trip.

Friday 22 March 2019 10am One of the better wantan charsiew Noodles I have ever eaten. At the edge of Bukit Bintang towards Chinatown, next to Royal Chulan Hotel, this old (at least 60 years old!) kopitiam has a calm, old world feel to the place. Dexter, who runs the business, makes everything himself - from noodles to wantans to charsiew. His noodles doesnโ€™t have that horrible alkali taste and itโ€™s delicious! Ask for the fatty cuts of charsiew - itโ€™s more tender. Also, try his dry wantans - meat morsels wrapped in wantan skin and drizzled over with oil and black soy sauce.

This is one of those rare and almost extinct type of kopitiam setup on the heart of KL Bukit Bintang. Run and operated by babies boomers which you can called grandpa & grandma. They offer few varieties of wantan mee topping like classic cha siew, mushroom with chicken leg, Hakka fried pork, curry chicken, etc. Taste good and not disappointing.

Wantan Mee the way it should be, served in an old style Kopitiam. It's not fancy, it's not sophisticated. That's why I give an extra star for authenticity.

One thing to describe the wantan Mee, Super expensive. I have two plate of wantan Mee plus 2 hot drink ( tea & Kopi) and 1 set egg for almost RM30. Nothing special about the wantan Mee. Portion is enough for 1 person.
