β β β β β Be careful with Transtar Travel bus company.
A couple of days ago, the inmigration control to enter in Singapur took 3 hours and the bus left without 6 of the 12-14 people that were travelling (the bus was class "solitaire", the most expensive).
We had to take another bus from the Inmigration control and we had to borrow SGD from other couple because we hadn't changed currency yet. Taxis don't arrived at that area and our Malasyan SIM card didn't work in Singapore.
About the bus, although it was comfortable, it was old, dirty, workers couldn't speak English and the drinks menu was limited to coffee or tea.
It cost 37 SGD per person.
Definitely, a completely shame.

β β β β β Worst experience. Should stop at TBS. But never annouce properly, end up have to stop at imbi and LRT back to TBS. Unfriendly driver said fiercely that they already call us.

β β β β β Terribly run down coaches, nothing works internally , there is no entertainment system as they state, journey from the Singapore to KL took 6 hours and 30min rather then the 5 hours. The bus was in such bad shape that it rattled along at snail speed. Service is not bad tho once u are in the Malaysia side. I wouldn't recommend transtar coaches. Better alternatives

β β β β β Arrived bus double deck bus, it suppose to be single deck bus, the seat arrangement haywire already, the driver told us to seat whenever u like.. waa.. thanks for the services.

β β β β β Some of the busses look a bit worn down, some have no front seats on the upper deck, and a kitchen area is there instead. The entertainment system is OK. It is no airline system, it uses a game controller to pick anything, and often the sticks have broken off, so you need to use a pen, but the staff are always helpful.
To and from Singapore from KL, we arrived on time both ways.
Office only had one toilet, which was the squat kind in service when i visited, there were insufficient seats for a full bus.
The bus itself was on leaving KL was rolling about on every turn, but as soon as we got on the highway, all was good.
Food served both ways was absolutely fine, about what you would expect from a mediocre short haul business class flight, and you have the chance to buy more food at the rest stop.
I know most of what i've said is bad, but when you factor in the price, and how long you'd spend from central KL getting to the airport, check in, security, arriving 2 hours prior, heading in to central Singapore from Changi and flight time, there is not much in it, for a substantially lower cost.
The bus is comfortable, staff attentive, city centre to city centre, and its cheap.

The bus was suppose to depart at 2.59 only arrived at 4.30pm and departed at 5.50pm. After, cross check with other customers the company combined 2.59 schedule with 4.30 schedule, and the route was amended to JB- Seremban-TBS KL. Very irresponsible bus company!
