Recommendation:
For locals like me, this shop or this brand will always not the top 3 choice to have similar types of dish. As tourist, you will find it easy to try out some authentic local ipoh style of chinese noodle dish.

โ โ โ โ โ I have always been here for their octopus and war tan hor whenever I am in Ipoh. It's one of the best war tan hor in Malaysia!! It's very flavorful and smooth. The yu kong hor ( moonlight noodle with a raw egg in the middle) is super delicious, the sauce with egg goes so well and when you slurp it up it's superrr smooth. Now the restaurant has been expanded so there are many tables but when there is a crowd it's still hard to find seats... And you will need to wait at least 30 minutes for the noodles to come. I loveee the octopus together with the chili lime peanuts sauce!

โ โ โ โ โ The black slippery noodles with raw egg was good and we ordered the octopus as well among other things. However they forgotten our order and we had to wait another 1 hour for the boiled octopus. Was it worth the wait? No. The sesame sauce was diluted and some of the octopuses were not skinned properly which made chewing especially difficult and stringy. Will not order the octopus here again. Poor customer service. Understaffed and the waiters looked unhappy.

โ โ โ โ โ Have a little crowd when I was there and waited for a short while. Nevertheless the food is delicious. The baby octopus is soft and its sauce is on point. The chicken feet is also cooked well and soft so it's easy to eat. I have a satisfied and fulfilling meal. The price is reasonable too.

Noodles are nice and taste delicous.
Octopus is nice for the taste.
Worth to have a visit.
Limited parking around and will be hard to find when peak hours.
