β β β β β The famous one with the only Salted Chicken located at Theater Street, Taman Jubilee, Ipoh, Malaysia. The salted chicken was marinated with numbers of herbs & spices and then wrapped with the paper and later put in the big wok to bake with full of rock salt. The salted chicken taste was perfect & juicy, rich in Angelica herbs aroma.

β β β β β Best salted chicken that I know since more than 15 years ago (pretty much even before I was born 22 years ago from my parents). The very foundation of this salted chicken can be used to many areas other than just eating it. My mom loves to use the bones to make chicken stock which, believe me, it is a lot tastier and stronger than your normal chicken stock. For me, I would steam the chicken to get more sauce, then keep the sauce somewhere and use it to cook rice which is also very nice.
Overall, I don't have any complaints with the chicken itself, but I do have some trigger point with the price. 10 years ago it's less than RM20, before and during MCO (from 2 to 3 phase) it was around RM25/26, which is fine. But now in 2022 they increased it to RM30 for 1 salted chicken, which is sad considering how I love their chicken but there's only so much I could afford. But if you have no limits on that area, just spend it, I would guarantee you'll not be disappointed!

β β β β β Delicious Salt Baked Chicken .. comes both fresh and frozen at RM23 per bird. I got the fresh one for myself and 2 frozen birds for my friends .. all of us loved it .. taste good with the herb seasoning and not too salty.

β β β β β Interesting place tbh with the Japanese style deco. Outside you have the Initial D famous AE86 car to take pictures with.
Makan wise the soyabean and tau fu fa are surprisingly good. The egg yolk bun is quite good too.

β β β β β So call the pioneer in the salted chiken. Price even chesper than the stall near the food street. Well packing. Tou can eat right away with heated version and they served frozen version with vacumn pack. You can just being back home to heat up yourself. According to owner he guarantee the chicken can keep for 24 hour without putting into frezer and you can still enjoy it with just heat up.
Small portion as they are using kampung chicken. So 1 chicken may be enough for 2 person if you tske this as your main food.

β β β β β We saw a very long queue waiting to purchase their highly popular salted chicken. We bought one first and another one the next day for its irresistible scrumptiousness. We would come and buy again the next time we visit Ipoh.

One of the famous salted chicken in Ipoh. It was okay, overall. Packed nicely/properly and instructions were given on how to prepare/enjoy it.
The bird itself was a bit small as how I remember it but we still enjoyed muching it.
We steamed it at 1st but decided to fry it to enjoy it more. Still worth a try.
