Was really excited to visit this place. By visiting this place I gained additional knowledge about turtles. I saw the baby turtles are actively swim here and there. However, there are few adult turtles that have to stay in a not decent size of container.

Sanctuary for turtles. I applaud the people involved in protecting the turtles and their eggs. They allow a lot of turtle eggs to hatch, protecting them form predators and poachers. Don't go there if you think you gonna see a lot of captives turtles. They just help the ecosystem not capture them. The are a few baby turtles ready to be inserted in the their natural environment.

It's was a fun weekend for us family to view the turtles and in-situ turtle nestlings. The are a few day old turtle that just hatched today. We saw a 3 green back turtle that was under treatment as they are found being caught in nettings. This place is accessible via boat ride cost RM200.00 for 2 ways, along with stopped by at Monkey Beach. Visitors can also use the hiking trail that is about 2 hours hike up the trail along National park Penang. Opens daily.

I’m surprised to see real turtles ?! You could self-learn life cycle and development stages of turtles from the preserved specimen there. No guide is around when I was there. There’s a cured dolphin skeleton on display. Small premise with precious biological preservation effort. You could reach here by long climb or boat. I guess depending on luck you could see turtle laying eggs or other activities. Else it would be a quiet visit.

A good effort for turtle preservation. No price for entry. Friendly & informative staff. You can see a batch of hatchlings & a couple of growing turtles (1 to 3 years old). Getting here takes effort. Either by hiking through the national park or via boat. Worth a stop if you are visiting Pantai Kerachut. Applaud their efforts. Please don't damage the surrounding area.

To get here you either hike from the National Park entrance or by boat that you can hire at the National Park information counter entrance for RM200. Not much turtle but this beach is where these turtles are hatching. If you are lucky, you may experience turtle releasing to the sea that they occasionally organized. Turtle conservation center normally small like this so your visit probably just 10 or 20 minutes.

A good place to visit to learn about Turtle. It is accessible via trekking or by boat. It is usually not busy. The good thing is despite the lack of crowd when we were there, the staff member was still very enthusiastic and gave a detailed explanation and briefing. He also answered all my questions patiently.
