★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tzu Chi has several recycling collection centres. This one is at the side of SS15 Courtyard opposite Shell petrol station. The centre is open on the third Sunday of every month. Residents drive their cars through and stop by the side of the tents and helpers will help to unload the items for recycling.
Today, 19 Jan 2020, the items given for recycling were much more than usual in view of the coming Chinese New Year on 25 Jan 2020. Fortunately, more college students from Sunway College came to help today. It seemed anyone can walk in as a volunteer to sort out the items into various categories - electrical and electronics, paper including cardboard and Tetra Pak, metal, plastic, clothing, bottles, toys and others.
