Pros:
1. Convenient location
2. Able to recycle anything
3. In general staff were helpful when they are around
Cons
1. Only open on office hours. For office working people difficult to find time. Should open officially on saturday morning at least. (If not, they should have a drop off area outside the fence so people can drop off any time)
2. Since MCO and CMCO opening hours very limited. Always closed. Also there was a security guard that was not very helpful.
3. The drop off location kept changing, initially at the main entrance, then there was a special area at the side, and now it is in a big container which is higher than human height - for heavy things how are we supposed to throw up?
4. All items whether paper, metal, plastic all dump into one same container - makes people wonder if they are properly recycled if its all mixed up?
Overall good initiative by MBPJ, but the execution has to be improved. Should make it more seamless so that more people are encouraged to recycle, otherwise its just a waste of tax payers money and the effort of people who spend time to segregate waste to recycle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring your styrofoam here, this is the only recycling center that can recycle styrofoam in Klang Valley afaik. You won't be able to find its operation hours on MPPJ website, but I can tell you it is open as usual during CMCO & RMCO for drop off your recycle items. I think there is some recycle education area, but it is unable to visit during CMCO. A good initiative by MPPJ during the Pakatan time, but I wish more info can be found online about it. Didn't encounter rude staffs during my drop off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is just a place for you to drop off your recyclables/unused clothes. You won't get any payment.
That's acceptable, since we recycle to have a better way to dispose our garbage.
But then, the MBPJ executives inside asked the guard to question me why I took so long. I am giving them more free money and they treat me like an unwanted person there. Seriously ?
At least for those wondering, yes this place is already open. Just not very welcoming.
Go to anywhere else that would exchange you money for plastic bottles to be recycled. It is not a convenient place to go to anyways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good if you drop off paper, cardboards, plastic stuff...they happily accept since they can resell it I guess. Your old tilam, pillows whatnots they don't want according to the kakak stationed there. So don't bothered if you don't have any resale value items to throw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressed with this recycling center. It collects almost everything from glass, tetrapak, clothes, preloved items, single-use plastic ( must be clean, even better if sorted according to codes ), so this means all food packaging, bubble wraps, plastic bags etc, to Styrofoams are accepted!
So glad I found a place that recycles styrofoams and they melt them to make photo frames, which you can buy from their pre-loved stores.
Staff was friendly & gave us a tour, I recommend you to walk in and visit their showroom & workshops. You can bring your kids for a fun learning session too.
It's a clean, organized and functional space.
