โ โ โ โ โ Service is so freaking horrible. The waiters don't even bother serving you. The food takes forever to come although it's not even full. Do not come here, there's plenty of other better restaurants in jonker street. Worst experience in melaka to date.

โ โ โ โ โ We bought a groupon cash voucher for Uncle Keong restaurant and the opening hours stated in the voucher was Fri โ Sun: 9am โ 12am. When we arrived at this restaurant at 735pm on 16/1/2014 (Friday) we were stopped at the door and was told that they are closing at 8pm so wouldn't accept anymore customers. We had to change plan after long drive to the place. Petrol wasted. Disappointed.

โ โ โ โ โ Would've given 0 star, but 1 is minimum. Service was bad, waitress was rude. Forgotten what I ordered and instead of clarifying nicely, came telling me off with accusatory tone as if I purposely took advantage by eating a more expensive food they thought they had served me wrongly. No apology of course after finding out I did order the food. Food was nothing to shout about. Save yourself from paying money to be treated badly.

โ โ โ โ โ Ambience: Cozy and clean, no weird smell and NO housefly.
Service: Staff Keong was not pushy and very service-oriented. Very conversational and makes effort to build rapport with customers.
Food: Assam fish was nicer than other two nonya restaurants in melaka. Fried seafood noodles (not menu item) was tasty.
Drinks: Butterfly pea flower with pandan and lemon grass tea was refreshingly unforgettable.
I think this restaurant do not deserve a one-star, as in terms of service and food, it was above average.

โ โ โ โ โ It is located at one of the entrance of Jonker street market. Place was not crowded and no queue is needed. Food was below average. We ordered the Ba Long Long drink, which is ok. Lady fingers and egg omelette were disappointing. I'd not recommend this place for a meal but may be the dessert soups that are their specialty.
