★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife & I have been looking for a laundry basket for a long time and he has so many of them!
We had a lovely chat with uncle Un Kee and found out he was the one making all these baskets. He has been making them for more than 40 years and started when he was in his teens.
He is either in TTDI or Bangsar, so I suggest calling him to check where he is, as he travels down from Sri Kembangan.
His baskets are beautifully done and the workmanship shows. He apparently also runs adult work shops which was really nice to know. It would be a lovely activity to join with friends and experience how these craftsmen make these lovely baskets!
We left buying a laundry basket, a fruit plate and also a small basket for our cat!
