โ โ โ โ โ Went to Penang Hill on Friday around 8.30 pm. Getting the tickets were extremely easy as there were very few people at the station. Ticket prices were at RM10 for adults and RM5 for Senior Citizens over the age of 60.
After purchasing the tickets, we did not need to wait long at all for the train. We got on it and after a short wait of around 10 minutes, the journey started.
When we reached the top hill station, we saw thousands of people queing up to go back down. The beautiful sight of the lighted island took our minds of the que for returning. By the time we completed snapping photos of the city at night and heading up it was almost 9.45 and everyone was packing up to leave.
There was only a single cafe open and we decided to have a drink and some bites. It was extremly expensive. Anyway, we had our drinks and bites and around 10.30 pm when there wasnt any que left, we decided to go back down.
In future will probably go again but will try to be up the hill by 7 pm so that we will still have a chance to check out the rest of the attractions on the hill.

โ โ โ โ โ On Sunday i recommend you buy the fast lane tickets. The train ride is best enjoyed from seats at start or end of the carriages where you will get full view.

โ โ โ โ โ The Habitat @ penang Hill,quite nice place to explore for nice view,green nature but to going up there need to pay rm50 for adult rm30 for student,for University student please bring your student ID. If you were ok,and want to explore nature you can please to try.

1. Normal RM 30
2. Fast track (priority given this line when it is crowded) RM 60
I went for normal, waiting time 15min.
Must take (funicular) train. Great view when going up the hill.
Ride duration is less than 10min.
There nothing much at the top except the good view. There are Small restaurants, mosque, Temple.
Good time to visit evening around 5pm -6pm. See sunset and beautiful Penang city view

โ โ โ โ โ Well improved in activities & attractions but please be prepared to pay for every entrance. If you want to eat ice cream which is very expensive, the only reasonable price is at the Indian Temple on top of the hill, the ice cream is tasty & many choices, price is very cheap as compared to the other ice cream sellers on the hill.
One very important point to note, please pardon the rude ticket sellers in the ticket booth, it seems like she are forced to do the job, not out of her willingness, she just hang on to the job because it is belongs to the government, I think. Ignore the rude staff, they are the exception, in Penang still have thousands or even millions of people who are friendly & understood what is customer service & satisfactions.

โ โ โ โ โ Itโs very nice and interesting place. It has fresh air that make me feel so fresh and comfortable even the weather is so hot. There are restaurants there too and varieties of food. You can see very much beautiful view of Penang city ?

โ โ โ โ โ Worth a visit. I sometimes scary whether or not the train is able to climb uphill. Great ambience up there. There is also abandoned resting building and the condition is not really good. Shady and dirty. It is like a haunted house. Really enjoy the short visit here.
