★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The train planned to stop every hour interval (11am, 12am,1pm, 2pm...). Good for those who wants to go for half route hike and take the train to reach the top without too tiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luckily there is this station mid point of the hiking trail. Can't continue after hiking for an hour and taking the train here up the hill.
It's free for the ride up.
When you go down with the train, payment is at the bottom of the hill.

Able to see the older funicular train exhibit here.
Cooling air in the morning and smell of good flowers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking to get up and down Bukit Bendera from here, don’t bother. The train will only stop for you here once per hour, and if the coach is full, you’ll have to wait another hour.
But! If you’re hiking up and around Penang Hill, the views around here are really nice. Also there’s toilet facilities for any needing to answer the call of nature while on an island trek.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice view, worth the hike. Every muscle in my body was practically screaming, lol, and I didn't make it to the top of Penang Hill, but the view at the Middle Station is no joke either. Nice, might do this again sometime ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Challenging to hike your way up here, but it's worthwhile. You'll be rewarded with a beautiful scenery. There's an old model of the funicular train which you can take photos of, although it's inaccessible. There's a toilet located there so you can ease yourself, remember to flush once you're done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hike up the Penang Hill and stop at this middle station, you won't regret it. After around an hour of hike, you will be welcomed by cool breeze and picturesque scenery looking over Penang from the high ground. Definitely will go again.
