โ โ โ โ โ We want to try the popiah at melaka. But the best shop was closed by the time we reached there. We have no other choice and have to go to baba low popiah. We bought pie tee and popiah. Drinks tea o and milo ais. Total rm13.50. But the food taste lame. Not nice at all. They brought teh ais instead of teh o. The place was not hygienic at all. There was one fly keep on sitting on our food. Not worth visiting.

โ โ โ โ โ Nothing special with the foods, came here because of the post from facebook, cause the foods is "looking nice & tasty" from the post, but seriously just so so. Not much of people but the service is very slow. My dad asked for the washroom but one of the staff is very rude and stop my dad to talk(LIKE IM BUSYING PLEASE DONT TALK TO ME). Next customer already had their drinks but ours still havent arrive. before the drinks come, the staff is so confused ,asked for 3 times what is our drinks but send it wrongly instead? then when we almost finish our foods,the drinks only arrived.

โ โ โ โ โ Came here years ago and it was much nicer back then. Laksa broth is not rich enough (taste bland), mee siam taste like regular meehoon, nasi lemak was so so only, pai tee was also much nicer back then. Overall, standard has dropped as compared to last time.

โ โ โ โ โ Personally, I find that many people, including the KL ones do not fully understand the mechanics & culture of how the local food is operated, and how the outsiders made many places famous, like this one.
Many people nowadays just make judgement based on the mass-opinion theory that makes a place so-called 'famous'. You know, when 100 people (without knowledge on what good food taste like) say the place is good, then it suddenly becomes good. Or if it is being shared on social media over and over.
Baba Low has been around, serving the local scene for a long time, and offers decent hawker-priced deals. I've been eating here for more than 20 years, and seen this place grow from a humble shack to what it is today. Don't expect the best of everything here as its just different and more like a Baba coffee shop under the tree.
I still enjoy coming here before the rush hours to get my fix of a wetter version of Mee Siam, and Laksa. This place doesn't need so-called "food aficionados" to rip it apart. I know people are entitled to opinions, but again, the Internet somehow created a new breed of critics, which is sadly ruining the fun out of everything nowadays. So, it would be best to remain grateful and thankful that places like Baba Low still exists.

โ โ โ โ โ The food were way better back then. Now the food are bad. The pai tee was oily, with missing ingredients, not actually the nyonya pai tee. The cendol, popiah were also bad. Not really recommended if you want to try nyonya food. There are plenty more places with nicer food.

โ โ โ โ โ Rustic ambience for breakfast but don't expect much from the food. Nothing authentic about the food, you can get better elsewhere. They were also very under staffed on the morning we were there but surprisingly the wait wasn't too bad. I suppose it's because food is already pre-cooked.
