★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice vibes. Dikelilingi pokok getah. But please avoid come during lunch time. They are not well organized. My sister’s food come first before our drinks. And till my sister finish eat i have yet to receive my food ?. Maybe short of staffs..hope they can improve. But thumb up to the warung environment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch. Arrived slightly before 12..not many people that time. Place was playing P. Ramlee songs all the way. Good! Told by staff that only Buffet was served for lunch. No problem because the price was OK per head. Food taste good but hampered by lack of choices. Should have more choices

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Gua Kandu of Gopeng, few kilometres from the main road. Need to drive through kampung & ladang getah with small kampung road.
The ambience & concept were nice. Warong was decorated with some 'old stuff'. I went on Friday evening (3pm), not much people & lots of empty seating to choose for.
Ordered chicken chop & its taste ok. Not much on menu but the price was reasonable.
The only two minus point are:
1. The ceiling fan near my seat was not functioning & seems like covered in dust (hopefully they fix & clean it after).
2. I have read review that Warong play P. Ramlee songs, but not one being played until I left the place (maybe because its not at peak hour kot ?)
Overall nice place to try ?

I went there for dinner on a weekday. The place barely have patrons (but im sure it is packed on weekend)
There is a parking lot beside it.
I wasn't expecting much in terms of food in this secluded area. But this blown me away.
The chicken grill was juicy and crispy skin
The kuetiaw kungfu (or something, forgot the name) was very flavourful.
It is also a nice restaurant to have celebration party
The only downside is the tiny bugs that kept landing in my plate ?
Tips: spray bug repellent on you before coming because there are some mosquitoes too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little cosy restaurant. I believed its part of the Hotel Kandu, but being nearer to the road I cycled in. Nice environment, very friendly waitress and owner. Price is almost like any other warung. Food is good. Recommended.
