The food is very nice and worth the price. The set we ordered are more than enough. We have 7 people and brought home our tomyam and sup tulang because we cannot finish them all. All the sauce were self made and and all my family love them. You must try the prawn with salted egg and sotong goreng tepung, really nice.

Super fresh and well cooked seafood. Battered and fried or in tomyam soup; all highly tasty. Bring own fish, prawns or crab and they'll cook it up for you for a cheap price. Lots of space and fancy plastic chairs to lounge in. Right next to the ocean, although the beach could do with some cleaning. Can catch a boat across from Pantai Merdeka that takes 5 minutes. Only issue is the flies - they're everywhere and get in your food and drinks.

Its a good place for you to enjoy your dinner if you visited Tanjung Dawai, just make sure to call, reserved dan confirm the operational hours. I would recommend all to try the ikan jenahak bakar, you won't regret.

Waiter was indifferent, took down orders but didn't listen carefully (some of the dishes came out wrong!). Dishes took 1.5 hours to reach us and even then, not all came out to the table. Everyone's palate is different but I find it grossly below average for the price charged. The Jenahak we ordered, came about an hour later. Thought they'd have enough time to cook it, but the tail end was not cooked properly - it was half raw (still sticking to the bones). A real rip-off and waste of time. Cleanliness is highly questionable. The owners should really install exhaust fans to siphon out the huge volume of smoke from the ikan bakar corner. There aren't enough fans to go around circulating the air. Stuffy, hot & humid, smokey and dirty. Unless you have the patience of a 100 saints and no expectations, this place should be written off your list completely.

Arrived at Tanjung Dawai at 3:00pm Saturday. First timer and only stopped here because there was no where to park the car close to Tanjung Dawai Mall. It’s road reserve parking here so make sure parked car doesn’t jut out or you pay the price. Toilet is very basic, reasonably clean but need to watch your step over the ungrille drain. Satey Kak Lela only available after 4-5pm so that was frustrating. ABC was sirapish which daughter liked but I wished it more milky. Ikan bakar looked delicious, bro-in-law had twice. I took Kway Teow Kerang goreng which was so-so, I prefer the way Chinese prepare it. I can see from photos here the menu variety is many and looks delicious. Price is reasonable but I need to come again to taste the other dishes to see if it deserves 4*. To me even that was so, they need to renovate their toilets for me to give them 5*.

We came across this restaurant based on decent review on google. We arrived around 7.40pm and restaurant is at 60% capacity. We ordered at front counter via system. We ordered grilled siakap, jenahak 3 rasa, deep fried squid, prawn sambal, ginger lala and salted kailan. The squid is not the fresh kind, frozen squid rings. Grilled siakap is fresh topped with savoury sambal. Jenahak 3 rasa was exceptable but nothing to shout about. Sambal prawn and lala is just ok. Service is freaking lousy and slow. Food came around 1 to 2 hour plus, so high level of tolerance is needed. They tend to serve larger party first which makes it annoying and frustrating. We were told, our salted kailan is sold out. Definitely not a fan, our appetite were ruined by the lousy service and no airflow as there are only tiny one in the establishment, but if this is your pleasure, please call in your order before dropping in. Our dinner ends around 9.45pm. When settling the bills, i heard couple of patrons before me complaining not getting their food too. Price-wise is quite cheap, refer to the resit for breakdown of the price. I tried my best to give this a good rating but i have to honest for the sake of future patrons
