★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy little spot with a vintage-kampong themed decor. There are not many tables available and it can get crowded during usual meal times.
They serve Johor's crowd favourite dishes, light meals and snacks, and of course, coffee. You can find Muar's popular Kopi 434 as well as options for Vietnamese style coffee. The Vietnamese coffee was pretty good, not too strong. Food is good too. Had the Laksa Johor, Mee Bandung and Soto. Out of the three dishes, I'd say Soto was the least favourite, although taste-wise, it wasn't too bad.
The service is fast, our drinks came not long after we placed our order. All in all, it was a good first time experience there. We'd definitely consider going there again to try out some other dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accidentally went into this warung last week. Since the outlet can be considered quite new, we gave a try.
We ordered nasi lemak ayam, mee kari, nasi with butter chicken and soto. Sambal nasi lemak was superbly spicy and burnt us like hell. Too spicy. Mee kari as well. Even the sambal kerang was way too spicy. At this point, we just put aside all sambal.
Soto was served cold. Almost taste like a basi sot. A bit awkward. But the nasi with butter chicken was okay and the only dishes that we could finished.
The most disappointed was the cold water. They do not serve you with cold water. It's either hot or warm (and imagine with that kind of spicy food). Need to ordered extra ice cubes.
Hopefully in the future they will add Ice water in the menu. Not mineral, just ice water. A lot of people will need it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing lunch I had here. Ate toast with egg and nasi lemak. Affordable price. Parking is quite limited but free. Plan to come before lunch hour. Classic decorations in the shop. Good service by staffs. Washroom is available.
