★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price wise is really cheap, though the rice had too much vinegar and caused the rice to be very glutinous. The sushi is decently fresh. The salmon seem to be from lunch time but the other fish that I've ordered are really fresh.

The quality of sushi is not very good. The sushi rice is often quite dry and brittle. The size of each sushi is on the smaller side. The tamago was quite thin.
The worst part is that the “mentai” sauce on the sushi is always very, very, very thin (see photos below). You can’t taste the mentai at all. At this point I think they better don’t put any mentai lah. Put also no difference.
However, their ala carte food is quite nice. The curry udon tastes very good and is very filling. The udon has good texture. The kimchi ramen (pictured below) is also quite okay. Broth is ok but nothing special. However the fried chicken cutlets that come with the kimchi ramen is pretty good! The chicken is surprisingly juicy and nicely cooked, but the seasoning and breading can improve a bit.
Also, when we came, there was one dirty sauce plate stacked with all the clean plates (pictured). But overall hygiene isn’t bad.
Overall, medium-low price, mediocore sushi, above average hot food. Go try Sushi Mentai and you’ll understand why I don’t like the sushi here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I normally go there for lunch and didn’t pay attention to their closing time, and only notice they close at 9pm when having dinner with friend ?
I like their grill Salmon head, and recently find the salmon head miso soup is nice as well. The sashimi and salad are fresh at affordable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service. Baby cockroach came out of our food, waiter came and used his hands to kill it. Manager came and apologised saying “the place isn’t pest control treated and cockroaches tends to come out”, she gave a 5% discount . Food was terrible, never went to a Japanese restaurant that served bad ginger… it’s ginger… much less the rest of the food. Rice made from machine and tastes so lumpy. They even leave the rice and other raw ingredients unclosed. Considering what she said to me “this place is not treated”, I think it’s very unhygienic and dirty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A stone's throw from the major universities and colleges around the greater Sunway City area, this Japanese eatery offers lots of choice and variety at student friendly prices.
The lunch and dinner sets are pretty good as evident by the grilled salmon don lunch set. Place resembles a typical Japanese styled eatery within to complement the meals served within.
