Tasty food, value for money considering seafood. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Chinese is the main medium for conversation but English and Malay is fine too.

Disappointing meal. Visited during Raya holiday. Crowded and being told to wait 2 hours for meal. Since it is crowded everywhere so we patiently wait. But food served is below average. Ordered steamed grouper for 8 pax, served half dish and it is RM120 for that dish. Still hv a lot of fish scales on it. Average chef will know grouper has lot of tiny scales n need to descale properly. Ordered salted egg sotong but was served cuttlefish which is too hard/chewy for children/elderly. Butter pork doesn't even look like a proper butter pork u see in average restaurant. Busy is not an excuse. I believe many come here because of vlog/review by blogger/youtube/"Jay Chou ate here before". Overall not impressed. Try other places.

Visited on May 2022 @ around 7.45pm (due to the hype from social media). 10mins drive away from Lexis Hibiscus PD Packed with crowd due to holiday season hence the limited parking bays Waiting time to seat - 10mins Waiting time to food served - 45mins Food just taste normal, no overwhelming effect Order 3 dishes (small portioned is really really small) that costs RM70. 1. Buttermilk prawns (small - 5pcs only) 2. Salted egg squid 3. Fry yau mak vege 4. Herbal drinks and rice x2pax Will not visit this shop anymore

1) come early, they get busy around 7.30pm and cause they are understaffed at the moment, it'll be hard to get a clean table 2) the food is good but not great, price is decent. We ordered: * lala meehoon - rm 12 (1 person portion) - the taste is pretty meh, i wouldn't really recommend * sweet and sour crab - 2 crabs at rm 98 * salted egg sotong - rm22 * kamheong mantis prawn - rm 20 - i also wont recommend cause the mantis was quite... Sloppy/wet feel *coconut - rm6 per coconut 3) recommend to not park inside their restaurant area but beside where there's a PD mart. Would be easier for you to get in and get out without getting stuck with all the cars trying to enter. Overall, its edible, its good but not great. Location is fairly near to Lexis Hibiscus if you are staying there, so a pretty good option for dinner.

10 out of 10 of us didn't enjoy the food served here at all. They claim crabs as their specialty so we ordered buttermilk crab ? with mantou but the crab came out cold and there was hardly any gravy to dip with the mantou or lick with finger. Pure dissapoinment. Ordered their famous salted egg squids too but it also tasted horrible. Squids were fried too oily and too soft that it wasn't crunchy at all. It was a surprise this restaurant is crowded during dinner but I suppose the well lighted ambience and good location makes tourists who go to Pd think this seafood restaurant is worth trying. But the claim is not true at all.

Dinner time! Overall a decent meal & definitely the highlights were the seafood. Highlights: 1⃣ 3-flavour (sweet, sour, salty) fried fish 2️⃣ Salted Egg Squid 3️⃣ Oats fried Mantis Prawns The rest were just decent. ? But these 7 dishes only cost us RM250...quite an unbelievable price! ?

It’s understandable that the place is very crowded during public holidays. The waitress was friendly to us as well. Worth a try for those staying in Lexis Hibiscus PD because it’s just few minutes away. Food I ordered for 2pax (all small) were: 1. Salted egg fried squid 2. Potato leaves 3. Oyster Omelette 4. Sweet & Sour Pork (not in menu but they still cook for us) The price racked up to RM80 for these 4 dishes + 2 rice and a drink. I got a shock as the portions are all small.

Food overall taste quite good though, portion wise slightly smaller than expected. Hence, price is slightly pricey too. The restaurant has a very obvious entrance at the night and very crowded during the weekend. Due to the crowd the restaurant didn't provide fried noodles during weekend. However it won't require to wait too long for the food to be served. The restaurant has aircond area, indoor area and outdoor area for options. Staff are friendly.
