A good place to find more on-site parts and traditional instruments.
The service is obtrusive if they don't know you. A bit "me and my shadow". I guess that theft may have been a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been at the same place since time immemorial, a hangout for musicians and musicians wannabe alike. You do not get shops like this anymore. It stocks a wide range of products, parts and choices, from the economical to mid range. Useful if you want to do some diy upgrade or repair to your beloved instruments. No parts are too small or too cheap for them to stock!
Try asking for a RM5 tuning peg or a cheapo RM10 capo from Bentley / Swee Lee / Mahogany / Guitar Collection. You will know what I mean.
Am not being cheap but many a times it is down to the player and not the equipment!
ONLY downside is that the shop is very cramped.... so setting up a test/demo can be quite a challenge.
Also note that it is located in a very "International" part of KL ? You will have visited Myanmar, India, Phillipines, Nepal, Pakistan and Vietnam by the time you get to Woh Fatt!

If I have chance, I will still giving them some business. Not about the price but the place which give us lots of memories. Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought an epiphone guitar from them. An old skool joint. The last time I was here was around 27 years ago and gotten my first guitar from them which is a kapok. Didn't had much issue talking to the elderly owner, the elderly lady boss was cracking jokes on and off so I guess it's probably human issue when come communication. Will return and get some strings next round. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In order to refurbish my 6th and 12th string guitars. This is the most available guitar store that sells lots of accessories and the prices are reasonable. At some lowly stocked guitar shop around my vicinity. In order to purchase one single string, I have to buy 1 complete set of strings when i only needed one. I have no other choice but to travel 14km on a motorcycle just to purchase my guitar accessories. Whoever goes there, parking is not easily available as it is located in the city center. They do give a tinny winny discount of 10% after a hundred ringgit purchase order of accessories but if the old man(Boss) is around.? Wahhhhh.. cheap already lahhh he said.!
Besides this shop has been around for decades so to speak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently visited Kuala Lumpur. A friend brought me to this music shop. I have been looking for a 16 holes and a 20 holes harmonica for quite a long period of time. And finally I found them selling in this music shop. Understand this music shop has been opened for a long time. Looking around this shop I could safely say you will find what you want. So if you are looking for a musical instrument, this is the store you should start with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have known this Musical instruments dealer since I was a school kid back in 1978! I bought my 1st beginner classical guitar from Woh Fatt in 2002. Introduced my brother to buy one too later. Sadly, just six days ago (23 Jan 2022), Woh Fatt was totally destroyed in a fire ?
