★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The overall audit quality provided by YC Chong & Co is very bad. Senior staff are inexperience. The staff ask shallow questions and unable to quote any accounting standards when needed. If you have any question or seeking advice related to accounting, the partner, Mr YC Chong, will never provide you with answers or advice. Instead, he will divert and talk about unrelated matters. Also, the partner will raise queries on issues (not an issue to any other decent auditor) in previous years where the audited report has been signed off by the partner. This, again, raise the question of audit quality of the firm. Do not waste your time in having an exit meeting with the partner as he only discuss petty/unrelated matters and do not expect the partner to provide any meaningful advice and recommendations to improve your company's policy or internal control. It will take them forever to provide you with the final audited report. That's not all. The audited report will be full of errors. Last but not least, the fee is expensive. Conclusion, please stay away from YC Chong & Co. as they will give you more problems and issues.
