Got the veg lunch set and masala tea. Food is delicious and Sri Lankan (Jaffna) style. On the pricer side and there's a wait queue to get in at times. I'd highly suggest vegetarians to come here for a better variety of dishes.

Came around 12:30pm for Sunday lunch, there was quite a few people lining up for the set lunch and in the restaurant already. The restaurant is quite a tight space so hardly any social distancing between tables I saw a few customers who were lining up and not wearing masks - the waiters did not reinforce them to wear masks. Set lunch (RM9) You can choose between white or Indian rice Choose 3 vegetable dishes which comes with rasam (ask for the rasam from waiter) You may opt to add on meat dishes (eg, chicken, fish, mutton), we took 1 mutton and 1 fish curry (RM15 or more depending on what meat you take) Requested for Pappadom (RM0.50) which is not included in the set lunch The food was overall OK. The set lunch is affordable Ordered the Ceylon tea (it has milk) and it was delicious. My fav out of all - it was fragrant and creamy much better than normal teh tarik We also ordered sweet appam (RM4) which is topped with brown sugar and coconut, nice way to end the meal At times you may need to repeat request to the waiters more than once, which happen to us where had to ask them about the Pappadom twice. While I heard another table trying to order for drinks (coconut) twice as well

Service at 9pm - not bad for a full house. Drinks - was good, both Ceylon tea and masala tea Food - a not so worth of chicken kottu roti at RM15. It's disappointing. Sweet appam was average. The prices and food quality doesn't correlate. Not worth for a 2nd visit.

Very packed in morning, but the staff works efficiently fast. I especially love the coffee, extremely fragrant and smooth. First time trying puttu, not sure how it should taste, but it was very grainy in texture and wheat-y in flavour. Idli is extremely soft and pillowy, very very delicious! I love the idli! It comes in three, with chutney and dhal. The chutney needs some spotlight, it was DELICIOUS! Overall it was worth it, satisfying!

Went for breakfast after our morning walk. Place ahead just opened and found it quite easily. Very simple decor but clean - had some great b/w images framed on the walls and loved going through each of them. We ordered a idli set, rava dosai and later a sweet appam. Went for the Nallen’s Bru Cafe and tea with milk (asked for less sugar but was sweeter than I expected - I recommend the coffee without sugar) The dal and chutney that accompanied the dosai and idli was yummy. The idli and dosai were tasty too. Top up with the coffee and it was indeed a good Indian brekkie. The sweet appam was more like a crepe dessert than the traditional appam which is soft n fluffed in the middle and crispy at the edges - would advise you to give this a miss if you like it the traditional way. The total was RM 24 - reasonably priced! Enjoy ?

If you’re working in KL Sentral (Brickfields) arena, you’re sure to have the best Indian food! ? But this time trying Yarl which serves Sri Lankan food. During the lunch hours, they have a lunch buffet, which consists of a choice of white or Indian rice and three vegetarian dishes. You can then add on any meat, fish or seafood that you want. Similar ordering concept as banana leaf. There are lots of choices! Here is what we have: ? Indian rice ? Tomato & onion curry ? Fried chicken ? Fried fish ? Mutton varuval ? Squid peratal ? Tomato salad ? Vegetarian meat ? Brinjal curry ? Sweet apam The buffet food is really yummy! I’d likely not order side dishes next time as they are pretty pricey and nothing too exciting. ? and the buffet dishes are already very filling! Loved their apam too! The sides were very crunchy and blended really nicely with the soft part. Overall, a nice place, will surely visit again for lunch!

The restaurant serve authentic Sri Lankan food, both vege and non vege. The food was delicious and excellent. The place was clean. Good environment with nice paintings and with light music. Nice ambient. Good place to go with your loved one and enjoy a quite meal. The price is little high than normal, so you can go occasionally. They need to improve their service.

Visited Yarl with my colleagues today for lunch. We decided to skip rush hour and go at 1:30 instead. Have to say, it was a great experience! The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the area and quality of food. RM12.50 for rice + 3 veggie + rasam. Still had great options even though it was after peak lunch hour. Service was great, the waiters explained everything to us and were very attentive. Ambience of the restaurant was chill and made for good conversation. Very airy restaurant so eating was a pleasant experience. Only thing is that the drinks were on the smaller side. Would definitely revisit again for a work or department lunch!
