β β β β β Popular minimalistic cafe in heart of kl. Ordered meltdown cheese mushroom and egg mayo sandwich. Drinks consists of latte n earl grey. Food portion is average but i like the egg mayo as the bread is soft n fluffy. The meltdown cheese mushroom is ok. Pricing is premium but the ambience was great. Great for get together with friends n love ones.

β β β β β LOVEEEEEEE the french toast! the combination of the fresh bread, crumbs, strawberry jam, and coffee ice cream was unbelievable. 100% get the french toast if you go here!!
i found this place from researching the reviews online too and apparently it's one of the top places to get good coffee. however, as an indonesian, i think their coffee wasn't as good as i expected. if you like coffee who has a sour after taste then this might be the one for you.
p.s. this cafe is a laptop free zone.

β β β β β Cold brew houjicha is really nice... Lemon tart not so sweet and got sour taste together with the tart base, so yummy..
Egg sando and French toast was nice, strongly recommended their French toast if u like dessert.. Avocado toast also not bad for a healthy breakfast...
Soft shell crab burger also nice but some part of the crab taste 'not that nice', otherwise the combination of this burger is ?
At the end i buy their lemon cake to take away, is still taste nice even tho take away.
I will revisit again if i go KL.

β β β β β Friendliest service from the staff we get. The staff was super helpful, know all their menu and suggestion. Comfortable seating provided anywhere you choose to eat. We get the 2nd floor seating, comfy eventho quite crowded. Menu was different from the others cafe we go. Need to really read what they have in the menu to get what you need. Definitely worth it and not to pricey. Just that the parking area is not too safe. Just saw few cars getting ticket on the main road and nearby the cafe.

Got the Big Brekkie(chefs recomm.)
The bread was the highlight, not too crunchy but not soft either, while the proteins(sausage and slab of bacon) were both surprisingly well seasoned and done just right.
The letdown was the gooey orange thingy which felt like a wanna be chiliconcarne, but thats my take on it, maybe thats just the way it was.
Greens had a slight tinge of balsam vinegar and the shrooms sweeter than expected.
Overall money's worth is 4/5.
Overall visit-tability is 4/5.

β β β β β I think the food is getting better over the years. Food is not overly greasy as well compare to many other brunch places. I like to see that the portion for salad is generous and make the supposed indulgence meal become a healthier ones.

β β β β β VCR is the first cafe Iβve been to when the cafe craze started years ago. Good to see that theyβre keeping well and the food still retains its standards in this outlet. I frequent the bangsar one due to convenience as this location still has parking challenges which is a bummer. Tip: park at the hotel next door or risk a summon.
5 stars for the effort and nostalgia!

β β β β β Everytime I came here, I become so content ? The ambience is so nice and their staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious too although it's quite expensive. Good for coffee talk, even deep talk with your partner/soulmates. This cafe will bring the best out of you!
