β β β β β Very average food experience. Got the coffee, curry chicken bao, kaya bao, roti kahwin and Mee Hailam.
Would recommend if you appreciate the heritage of this store, else the food is just average with a slightly higher price tag.
P.S I see a number of people asking why their coffee tastes like instant coffee. They do use instant coffee, which is their brand! Also, average at best tbh.

Coffee is above average. Mee Hailam I don't even rate it average.
Price wise - seriously HIGH. At least 20% higher then KL for this standard taste and ambient. Not worth a try. Avoid it

β β β β β I haven't been here in like 20 years plus probably. This place was my childhood cafe that me and family always stop by for some yummy pau when I was a kid. I learned to eat pau from this place basically. Haha. The place is roughly still the same as I remembered and their red bean pau is still awesome! ? Their hainanese chicken chop is still delicious. More than delicious than I remembered and their sauce is very different than the ones I ate in KL. It's sort of like their secret sauce. I can clearly see people who knows this place still comes by for afternoon lunch for some pau or curry mee. I may be bias for 5 stars but their paus and chicken chop is worth the trip and visit. Sometimes you just need to revisit your childhood place to reminisce what was good in the first place and this place was definitely my highlight in recent years. ??

β β β β β Food is good especially coffee and Pau like before. Ordered Hainan Fried rice look simple but but the taste are superb! Roti kawin or toast bread are also delicious. However there's a possibility of waiting in queue to get table as their table are limited.

β β β β β This place serves a good Pau/Pao/bao/ steamed stuffed buns.
The portion of each dishes actually can be eaten by 2-3 person.
We tried their curry mee/noodle and the chicken chop.
The noodle is quite oily. The chicken chop gravy is the best but unfortunately the meat is not cook very well. I guess because there's a lot of order and they want to hurry.
They also sell their frozen food products.

Drink served in plastic and paper cup, taste not good as before.
I prefer the old daus of Yik Mun instead of now.

β β β β β Well-known halal pau that taste really amazing. Curry chicken is flavorful while red bean filling is authentic & not too sweet.
We bought the frozen ones. Price: RM32.4 for 12 pieces (1 packet)

β β β β β My grandparents used to take me here when I was a kid and what a surprise when I drove by Tanjung Malim and the place is still here with almost the same menu. We had Hainan Chicken Chop, Roti Kahwin and Mi Kari, which was my late grandma's favorite. Service was fast and there was not a lot of customers when we came. We tapau some Pau and Mi Kari as we were so full but still wanted to take more food home.
