Zeneyes Cafe Kota Damansara

First visit to this hidden gem. Food was great, loved the mala chicken wrap and lunch plate. Their drinks are a must try, they serve mind-blowingly creative fusions which are unexpectedly tasty. Minimalist and instagrammble design. Staff very friendly! They have many plugpoints as well if you need to work. Visited during the day but apparently they organise special nights (game nights etc) on specific days.

A cosy and quiet place, which I really like compared to other coffee places. The Needing A Vacay is a good drink, a mixture of soda and coffee which gives a balance between bitter and sweet. As a coffee drinker, the taste is new for me. My taste buds enjoyed it ! Also ordered their Peanut Butter toast, it was delicious. The employees were kind to attend to me and suggested drinks and food to try. The service is good. I like the ambiance. I’ll come back ! Hope that it won’t be crowded in the future.

The place is very atmospheric, the owner of the shop is friendly and always welcome people with hospitality.The staff of the cafe provide personalised recommendation to the customers, making sure we always have a good experience. I love the attention to the details in terms of the product they serve as well as their customer service. Strongly recommended.

Needed a break after long day of site visits. Found this gem tucked away in this rather new mall. 4.8 stars I thought, let’s check it out. Latte didn’t disappoint and decor is IG worthy too. Def worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Definitely a cozy place to hangout. Simple yet comfortable. A place where home feel is. The owner and the staffs are so friendly and passionate in providing high standard of service as well as the freshness of food. The salmon plate is a must try with combination of juicy and crunchy bite, one of the healthier choice! Don't forget to try the pastries, chocolate cake topped with marshmallow, again is another surprise you will get!

An oasis of calm in Kota Damansara - a hidden gem deserves recognition! Having going to Kota Damansara frequently, I've noticed many new developments especially the Emporia that is now standing tall along the main road of Persiaran Surian, right in front of where one of my favourite kopitiam, Meng Yang 2, is located. Zeneyes's founder Laurence, who had spent part of his life in Shanghai, decided to open his cafe on the first floor of this relatively still-empty mall. The moment I stepped into this cafe, I had this sense of calm and serene. The entire place adopts a minimalist design with a faux tree in somewhere in the middle of the cafe, surrounded by black & white stones - just the way I like it. Tables and chairs were spaced out nicely in accordance to SOP. ◾Zeneyes Salmon Plate - Norwegian salmon cooked to medium, with sweet potato, Japanese cucumber and cherry tomato salad on the side. Credit to them, the salmon was seasoned and executed nicely, and the addition of kuaci gave much needed crunchy elements to the dish. ◾Xinjiang Lamb Plate - lamb shoulder chop, eggplant with garlic, vege salad, garlic aoili sauce & sourdough bread. Not too spicy and cooked nicely.. it would be perfect if the eggplant was thoroughly cooked as it felt a bit raw on the inside. Seasoning was spot on though.. hope they'd get it right next time. ◾Egg potato salad - complimentary on the house by the owner when he noticed that our little princess had nothing to eat. She loved it - thank you! ◾Cheesecake - just the way the princess likes it. ◾Needing a Vacay - nothing describes my feeling better than this drink.. like juice, peppermint syrup, soda, mint leaves and espresso combined to create this refreshing espresso-based mocktails. The owner was kind enough to cut down on the syrup as I don't take sugar or anything sweet. ◾Flat white gave her the caffeine kick for the afternoon. ◾Hot chocolate - the little princess said it was good! I appreciate the kind gesture extended to us by the owner and his polite staff. It was the human touch via interaction that made the difference and I felt welcome from the moment I stepped in until I left the cafe. Check out the available cake/pastries on display, and if you're fan of pottery, check out the various cups on the display shelves at the back.

Love the minimalist decor. Comfortable after the merry-go round search for the cafe. Owner should put a signboard at ground level. Tried the lemon poppyseed cake, moist and not too sweet. Nice! Will come again.

Very stylish almost Scandinavian type place upstairs facing outside in a relatively new mall like area we went to for our booster shot. Some interesting items on the drinks and food menu including Coffee and soda creations which I'd never tasted before but thought was very good - I'd like to try the orange one next time. Food was tasty and service very friendly - I could imagine If it was busy there might be a slightly long wait but I suppose it might depend on staff numbers etc. A special mention for the giant peanut butter cookie which my wife said she loved more than me!!
