Good quality supplies for disinfectants and covid self test kit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been getting all my medications and health related stuffs from this branch. Mr Ryan, one of the Pharmacist, is helpful and gives good advise. Whenever I needed to purchase any medical equipment, he would give me options and explain things properly for me to decide. Overall friendly staff and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called AA Desa Sri Hartamas and asked for a pharmacist. A lady picked up the call and proceeded to answer my question without passing me to anyone or introducing herself, so I have no idea if she was qualified to answer my question. I told her I bought a bottle of medicine from them but wasnt sure of the dosage as it says '2mg for Adults'.
She started off by asking, for what age? I said Adult. She asked again, yes, how old? Again, I said adult. She asked is it for someone above 12 years old? I said, yes, its for an adult!
She proceeded to advise me to take 10ml. I was doubtful about her advise (as 10ml is a lot!). I told her on the bottle, it says, dosage: 2mg every 4-6 hours. She refuted me that 2mg wasn't the dosage - even though it clearly states on the box! And I told her that's what the bx says! She refuted me again. I wasn't sure if I was going to get a trustworthy answer at that point so I decided to call someone else.
I called another pharmacist that I regularly go to and she told me the correct dosage was 2mg as stated on the box which is equivalent to 5ml or 1 teaspoon. This is what a clear explanation on how to take medication should be.
So not only was the AA Pharmacy staff being negligent in handling advice relating to medicine, she almost overdosaged a customer with her ill advice! What really irked me was that she was so sure of herself, dismissing what I had to say, and all the while without even checking on her facts.
I would not recommend going to this pharmacy as staff competency and training is obviously lacking. Being negligent in handling medical advice is a threat to our health and simply unacceptable!
