We planned to have breakfast here, but the smell of the shop make us regret our decision, very unpleasant smell. At last we went to the store beside

This restaurant has been serving its signature pork offal porridge (猪杂粥) for over 40 years! The porridge is silky smooth and offal is fresh. This is quiet a busy place at the back lane of the main road.

Not recommended. Blog has exaggerated the 'delicious' of pork offal porridge. Taste and texture just the normal one. Beside, service wasn't nice. Went with friends (5 of us), we have had some breakfasts earlier (Yuan Kie Kopitiam) and decided to give a try of porridge here, so we ordered 1 bowl to share among but get refused by owner (he mentioned at least 3 bowls). In the end we agreed with 2 bowls instead. Owner seemed unhappy and served us with only extra 2 empty bowls (well, it's 5 of us, shouldn't it be 3 empty bowls extra ?). It wasn't a busy morning, and we were completely fine not to eat here if owner wasn't happy with less order.

Nice little shop serving pork porridge. Be warned, they serve the inner organ or guts. Still, not bad, the smell and taste is a little bit provocating, but the food is good. Eventually will come down to your taste. Taste a bit like Bak Kut Teh.

One of the traditional tastes in Bentong. Crispy fried intestines an other offals are the main selling point here. You can have them in economical fried noodles/rice vermicelli or porridge. The saltiness of fried intestines compliment the porridge.

Famous traditional porridge shop in Bentong. The tauke aunty and her children are very friendly and cute. I came here because I saw a post on travel website that it is a must eat in Bentong. The pork offal porridge is a signature here but I don't eat offal so I ordered a chicken floss century egg porridge. My friends ordered this too but added on the deep fried pork intestine. We were served very promptly after ordering. The porridge is ok but I find it too bland for my likings. Anyway, they have pepper and soy sauce on every table so customers can add seasonings to their likings. This is the first time I had pork intestines and to my surprise, it's so crispy and I could accept it! By the way, they serve economic beehun and mee too. Curry is also available here.
