Just a disaster second time in a row. Unprofessional in many ways. Go for Grab - better service for less

Worst as usual. Dirty taxi and lousy drivers. To be honest, it the worst taxi in South East Asia. Please use alternative transportation such as klia express or grab.

Service is not professional. The driver make our cel phone dropped into his car by misplacing one of our bag. When we called the company, they were not able to identify the driver since they are not tracking the driver. We called the lost and found departement, who to shut the conversation down say that they will to call us back. 4 hrs later we called back since no news and we found out that they were not going to help. We had to go back to the airport and go to the police for them to identify the cab number. We then went to the counter to organize the phone pick up at the airport. The following day, the driver showed up at our condominium and requested 50 RM to give back the phone. we considered it as extortion.

This company partnered up with Citibank to offer a complimentary ride back home from the airport when you use the credit card abroad. When we were at the counter, the person working it said that the complimentary car would not fit all of us and asked us to upgrade to a larger car which we said yes to because no sedan could fit 4 large luggages and 4 human beings. Of course, we had to pay a fee which cost us about ~RM50. When we walked out to find our car, we were greeted by a Nissan slyphy which was a compact car. We questioned the upgrade and found out that we got upgraded from a β€œbudget” to a β€œpremier” car when Citibank obviously stated in their fine print that we are entitled to a β€œpremier” car and are subjected to upgrade fees for a higher class car (which we were trying to get). Wasted about 30 mins trying to figure out what we paid for, talking to personnels that weren’t a single bit helpful, we ended up downgrading back to a budget car and ordering another taxi. So overall, I left the airport feeling cheated after wasted a good 30-45 mins for nothing.

I use this service every time that I land in Kuala Lumpur. This experience is built up over more than a decade of use. Just go to the desk BEFORE you pass the sliding exit doors from arrivals - it is on the left. You pay at the desk - not the driver. This service has never failed me. There are always drivers available. It is far less stressful than using the taxi touts in the arrivals concourse. Budget cars are cheaper - typically small proton cars that are >5 years old - these are the typical taxis in KL; no worse and no better. Good for a small group but these cars have limited luggage space - so ask at the desk if you have a lot of luggage. All the ones I have used have sat-nav and have taken me straight to the destiation at a fixed price. The higher level cars are usually mini-vans now - but in August 2019 had double the cost. Use these if there are more than 3 of you or if you have a lot of luggage. The online GRAB service is a local version of "UBER". For this you need to download an app to a data enabled smart phone. My experience of GRAB in Kuala Lumpur has been good - but beware data roaming charges if you come with an overseas phone. If you are going to KL Central Station the KLIA Express train is excellent - but with 2 or more passengers I find the taxi service to be cheaper....and for destinations outside the KL Central Station area can be quicker. getting luggage up to the LRT platforms there is hard work!
