They got only Facebook and WeChat menu. I don't have both so I probably can't order without using my friend's phone. Come on, it's 2022, why still use old thing? There is a thing called telegram. The food is a little big more salt and a little bit more sweet. Price is ok I bet. Menu got limited food to choose from. I think I won't come back anymore obviously because I can't order here. Dude.

A one shop Japanese restaurant that serves reasonably good food. Ordered salmon belly, unagi bento and dragon maki. All tasted good but need to wait a bit longer as they only have 3 chefs and 1 waiter. Almost full house during lunchtime and if they keep their quality and price status quo, I am not surprised they may expand to two shops in the foreseeable future. Their prices are reasonable and portion was generous.

Services are terrible, waited Unagi Don for about 40 minutes and realized they’ve forgotten about it, served it afterward and isn’t up to standard. Pricey and not much options.

It's great and definitely worth a try! The food is great and fresh! I'd recommend their apple salad! (The tempura bits in their apple salad really makes the difference!) Their udon soup is also really nice. When I bit into the chicken pieces in the udon, I was like woa this tastes like chicken. If you try it, you'll get what I mean like it's fresh fresh. Their tempura batter is also great! If you're having trouble with scanning the QR code for the menu, just go to their Facebook to check out the menu cause that's what the QR code will lead you to anyway. (You should check out their menu on Facebook before going to also check out the prices. I'd say that it's pretty pricey but also kinda normal for Japanese food in general. But just a heads up for those with a budget.) It's a relatively small and cozy place with less than 10 tables, so if you're planning to go there, I'd suggest calling to reserve a table in advance for dinner times. For lunch time, so far my experience is that it's pretty quiet, so walk-ins should be fine. They're also quite fast in serving food. Also, there's free water at the counter where all the cups and glass jug are (I didn't know until the second time I went). Also, an extra thing that doesn't really contribute anything to this review is that they serve their tea in these glass jugs which I really love! They're like medium height and fat (I forgot to take a picture, so bear with me haha) which I just really love. The size is just perfect to me XD And the tea stays warm for a long time which is just crazy to me or maybe I just haven't had much experience with glass jugs. If you get their tea, you'll get what I mean. Idk I just really loved their tea jugs XD If the owner sees this, drop the link for the glass jug please ;))

A neatly designed cafe serving a small menu of Japanese delicacies nestled amongst the charm of Ipoh old town. Flavors are authentic and pricing is reasonable. A good choice if you’ve had enough of the local food fare.

Very good japanese cuisine...Very articulately prepared....And it tasted great .. Service was excellent....Very friendly...The only downside for me is the menu ...I'm not a fan of scan your phone and choose your meal ...I prefer the old school menu ...

Aka Japanese Cuisine is superb. Obviously, if you are someone who prefers quality of food then please look forward to this authentic Japanese restaurant that would offer higher quality seafood and special dishes. The restaurant serves creative sushi and fresh sashimi. Pretty good selection of sushi .... sashimi.... maki .... teriyaki ... tempura ... soup and salad.  If you love sashimi and sushi ... you wont be disappointed The staff here is friendly and attentive. Effecient services and the price is reasonable. Must try
