I am Dim Sum lover and this place really surprised me. It's not the typical tourist targeted place. They give you a menu and all the price is there already and the portions are really generous. The ingredients is generous too and I already over ate. Will come back everytime I pass through Ipoh.

dim sum. The cornerstone of any nutritious and delicious breakfast in Ipoh. Tried Fulin cause I was staying at MU. Tried the big five, fishball, Har kau, siew mai, fong chao, pai kuat, and fried har kwin. All tasted real unique and good. Though the shop was empty of people, I truly enjoyed the pepery and different tasting fong chao, the thin skinned har kau and the rest. Really must try.

guess there are many good dimsum shops in ipoh, this shop is about average. but if this shop opens in Klang Valley, probably it would be one of the better ones. we ordered quite a lot but didn't take many photos. the skin of the tart was too thick to our liking, the lomaikai has no charsiew or pork fragance. We also ordered one dong kui siewmai which was really good. Worth trying that.

A good choice if you come Ipoh during holiday season, we found this less-crowded dimsum place, no queue needed. The price is like other dimsum places in Ipoh, portion is normal, taste is normal.

Pictures taken after took some pieces of it. Pros: 1) No waiting. Unlike most of the popular ones, there isn't much of crowd. 2) Freshly made and few good unique ones. 3) The price is affordable and portion is decent. 4) Patient waiters. We complained of the slow service and yet they calmly explained to us that it takes time since it's freshly made. So this brings us to... Cons: 1) Service is slow. Very slow. Even the infamous Siu Mai came last after ordered 45 mins ago. Maybe because it's FRESHLY made and will start steaming upon order. 2) Poor organisation. This has affected service efficiency.

They have dim sum which I can't usually order in my hometown. Tasty❤️ Loving their steam cream custard bun with salted egg yolk, they added kaya in it?? Their steam pork paste balls with salted egg yolk and steam bacon and pork rolls with black pepper sauce also highly recommended.

I was staying at the MU hotel and happened to see this dim sum restaurant across the street. As a dim sum lover, i’d say this shop doesn’t disappoint at all. A hidden gem. Ordered the pork, peanut century egg porridge which was yummy, flavorful and the kind of taste I love. The stir fried radish cake with fat bean sprout, lap cheong and the squeeze of calamansi was superb. The flavors of the usual siew mai was nice and comforting with a tinge of mandarin peel. The char Chee cheong fun was not as thin and silky as I would expect it-just ok. The restaurant is bright, airy, staff attentive. Full to the maximum for one person. should bring more people so can share other dim sums :)

Weekday breakfast while on a short holiday in Ipoh. Heard about this place from online blogs as one of the less-crowded but good dim sum places. Very easy to find parking at 10am. Much more space than in busier parts of town. Seemed quiet with only two tables occupied - but the dining experience was excellent from the moment we sat down. The environment is clean, cool, and comfortable - even the toilets! The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They introduced the menu to us, highlighting which items were worth a try. Made us very comfortable to ask for help when requiring extra cutlery or adding hot water for tea. Enjoyed the fried taro, glutinous rice, salad shrimp, har gow - and everything else we tried. Price was very agreeable. Probably the best of all the restaurants we visited in Ipoh this time around!
