First time trying out SriLankan food. Tbh it’s like Indian food to me. So I ordered the Aliyaa First Timer Experience Smtg. Love the crab samosa as appetizer. As for the main, the mini dishes was decent but not impressive. The real impressive highlight of the dish was the dessert actually. The Appom texture and flavour matches up w the sugar they sprinkled on it was superb! Maybe they can train their staff to be more professional. A lot of staff standing around but only 1-2 can explain or knows something about the themself. And maybe they can be more attentive on catching the fly that flies around annoyingly near us.

Come to Aliyaa for wonderful Sri Lankan cuisine. This is my second visit and the food is flavourful and well prepared. We liked that the wait staff are both knowledgeable and not pushy. Ask for recommendations and you won't be disappointed. For lunch we had rice cooked in banana leaf with chicken, eggplant and plantains (I make it sound way simpler than it is!) which is a Sunday special so if you are dining here on a Sunday, I'd recommend it. We also had cashews for starter and a fried ladies finger dish. All were delicious! Oh, and paired with a glass of Pinot Noir (thank you for the recommendation Aliyaa) which went really well. We ended our meal with the sweet apam which is not to be missed!

Went for a dinner date with boyfriend on Saturday night, the restaurant is not too crowded but we still called to reserve just in case. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, love their lighting and decoration. Both of us are first time here so we order their β€œAliyaa Experience” to try out their food. Very nice to have this kind of set menu for a new customer. Food is very very nice, portion is just right for 2 person. Both of us like the dessert so much even we are so full from the main course. Price is reasonable, very nice experience here, would definitely come back again

Good authentic Sri Lankan food. Highlights were the mutton paal poriyal, crab cakes, cashews curry n crab curry Amma style. A nice not too sweet dessert is Wattalappam

This place never fails to blow our minds-incredible flavours, such warm service, and an all round awesome experience. We had the set menu and loved everything on it. It was my first time trying the Apam dessert which was delicious! Thanks so much, we’ll be back.

Crab cakes and fish cutlets as starters were yummy with a hint of good spice. I found the kulaiyal to be too oily but it’s quite nice, big chunks of veggies though. Mutton paal poriyal is boneless and to be honest it tasted like any other mutton you can find at a random blr store, it’s really nothing special and it’s very pricey at rm80. Okra paal curry was decent and creamy. Not a fan of their mango lassi, not much mango taste and it’s pricey. Sweet appam as a dessert was such a great delight! Reservations are recommended, and staff are friendly.

A Sri Lankan restaurant with a fine dining experience. They provide a degustation menu for RM 128/person if you would like to sample a variety of Sri Lankan dishes but with a minimum of 2 persons. We opted for a la carte instead. The kothu and crab curry was delectable. The prawn curry was very light and it went nicely with the kothu or rice. I enjoyed the brinjal as well. The service was timely and attentive, as it should be coming from a fine dining restaurant. It is usually packed during dinner, and reservation is highly recommended

Had one of the most wonderful meals here. The staff at the restaurant are always attentive and would check on you from time to time. We had the Jaffna Curry Crab, and it was super delicious. Do remember to tell the waiter to adjust the level of the spice if you can't take anything too spicy. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
