★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lighthouse located on Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor is also known as the Altingsburg Lighthouse in conjunction with the name of the Dutch Governor General who ruled during the capture of Malawati City at the hands of the Dutch. It is the symbol of Kuala Selangor which is still strong and serves until now to be a guide for ships passing through the Straits of Malacca either from the North or South. The lights from this lighthouse will be installed from 7.00 pm to 6.00 am daily.
