โ โ โ โ โ Warning โ ๏ธ: Outlier review ahead. Having read all the rave reviews of this place, it has been on my list for a while and I finally got the chance to visit.
Didnโt make it for their lunch time menu which ends at 230pm so ended up trying most of their all day breakfast stuff.
Food ordered: Banana cake, sourdough waffle, bagel with cream cheese, and grilled cheese sandwich.
The only decent dish was the grilled cheese sandwich. Everything else forgettable. If youโre like me and you like a nice crisp to your waffle, sourdough waffle ainโt for you. The bagel would be more aptly named The Rock and the banana cake was just okay.
Because I donโt drink coffee, I have very high expectations for ice choc, which is my staple order in any cafรฉ I visit. And boy does this place fail at making ice chocolate. It tasted as โun-chocolateyโ as it looked.
Perhaps their lunch menu is better. Perhaps.

โ โ โ โ โ Small cafe along old commercial lot. Limited parking, and to need to pay for parking spot. Coffee is sourish and strong. Donut taste fluffy. Serving hot meals as well. A cozy place to work, chit chat with friends. However, felt a bit warm after a while.

โ โ โ โ โ Had their ramen smoked beef, was really good. Brisket soft and melted in my mouth. The broth was delicious, couldnt stop eating. Also orderwd their lemon custard meringue, not a fan. I think their pasties are too old. Its not fresh and its really hard. Dont order any of their pastries. Coffee was good. Ordered iced latte. Very chill place to lepak and hangout. Though I think it gets a bit crowded during the day, malam is just nice.

โ โ โ โ โ The cafe was small and very limited food choice, temperature was rather warm. 5 of us left and didnโt get to try their food cuz of the limited food choice and their sourdough was unavailable.
Reached this cafe at around 12.15am, the cafe was very understaffed so it took them a long time to serve us.
It wasnโt a pleasant experience for us, the shop sign of the cafe is dirty, the temperature in the cafe is warm, and itโs small and quite crowded
I would say this cafe is more suitable for smaller groups, like 1-4 people

โ โ โ โ โ Very nice laid back and relaxed wood accented environment inside. The place is conducive as well for quick informal meetings with business associates if you prefer.
Menu here has been in continuous updates with a more streamlined choice of offerings. The sourdough pastries here are to-die-for. I tried the smoked beef ramen as recommended and it was very good indeed. All the natural umami flavours came across in a nuanced and natural tasting manner. The use of belimbing fruit as a flavour enhancer for the stock is sheer genius. Highly recommended as it is.

โ โ โ โ โ One of my favorite go to of coffee and sourdough loafs. Most of the menu are made from scratch in the kitchen.
Plenty of parking space, quiet in the morning, some lovely cats to pet.
Just got to tried their sourdough waffle with butter and maple syrup, fluffy with some crust outside, a hint of acidity - refreshing!
Definitely a pleasant corner to read a book and have a short meeting with friends here.

โ โ โ โ โ Our first time coming to this coffee shop cos of some decent reviews. When we arrived, the restaurant is not pack and there's plenty of chair, a bit dusty and disorganised probably it's the theme.
We head to the counter to order & the menu seems different from what was published in their IG - the food we wanted to order isn't in the menu.
We decided to order waffle and coffee. Took almost 30 minutes for the waffle to be served. Sadly, the waffle taste sour and it has a weird after smell - we let the waiter know and ask for refund.
Not going to recommend this place. Too bad, this so far the worst place we've been.

โ โ โ โ โ We ordered 2 pasta and 1 ramen. I enjoyed the ramen very much, but the pastas were a bit salty. Their pasta has a slightly different texture, a bit chewy than normal.
