★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and environment was lovely. Nice place to host guests. Taste was also appropriate and not overwhelming for each dish.
My only comment was that the food portion was quite little for the price charged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refreshingly delicious. That is what I would describe the food in Aposto. As Chef Chu explained, the aim is to have everything well balanced and true enough, unlike most Italian food we find in KL, the dishes here are not too heavy and the components works well to achieve this balance. The open kitchen brings about a welcoming atmosphere, as Aposto also aims to be a mainstay in TTDI.
The star of the dinner had to be the lobster risotto, with the briny butter poached Boston lobster accompanied by a light risotto, though the 16 hour braised duck tagliatelle was just as scrumptious. The much talked about Saba on toast is also deserving of the praises it gets.
And to wrap it up, the light panna cotta wt Hungarian acacia honey (yes, that much detail was put into it) & white wine jelly and the Tiramisu wt coffee meringue were just tantalising.
The crafted drinks selection is interesting and mostly refreshing, personally had the Lychee something something and Tomato Sunrise. They also serve the usual coffee and tea, plus a selection of wines and beers on tap too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so impressed the moment I stepped into Aposto. A posh yet casual dining place. Everything is very well-thought off, from the décor to the table setting and the creativity of the food display coming from the young Chef’s effort.
I had Saba on Toast, Black Tiger Prawns Polpette, the Grilled Spring Chicken is so delicious and tender. I love the 16 hour Braised Duck Pasta. A bottle of white wine complemented the meal. Popular choices of desserts are the Tiramisu and Honey Panno Cotta – so yummy. Portions are big enough for up to 3 people. It is pork-free. So there is something for everyone to try.
I am looking forward to try the Lobster Spring Risotto which I read so much about. A place for couples, family or a private event as this place is good for up to 50 pax. Reservation is recommended. Planning my visits again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried out Aposto KL – the newest addition to the exciting dining scene in TTDI. Aposto (which means “everything’s good”) is a modern Italian restaurant by Chef-founder Chu Wei Sin who was formerly the executive chef at the renowned BABE by Jeff Ramsay in Damansara Heights. Having honed his talents and developed his culinary skills abroad and right here in KL, Chef Chu decided that the time was right to open his own establishment, and every aspect of Aposto reflects his experience and philosophy. Aposto is certainly not one of those soulless "open a premium restaurants to make as much money as possible" establishments. There was obviously a lot of effort, blood, sweat and tears that went into creating this restaurant!
The menu is meant for sharing, so expect sharing portions with a combination of high-quality ingredients and textures that’s sure to generate some discussion. While we were gushing over the absolutely delicious Lobster Spring Risotto and Beef Shortribs which were simply spectacular, I was personally very impressed with the Saba on Toast, which saw saba on ciabatta, topped with feta and olives which was simple and straightforward, yet lip-smackingly good and highly memorable! She loved the Miso Chili Vongole Aglio e Olio which was made with fresh handmade pasta that's made in-house.
The interior of the restaurant is sophisticated, classy and highly Insta-worthy! The best seats in the house are at the kitchen counter where you can witness Chef Chu and the culinary team in action in the open kitchen. Aposto is not a fine dining establishment but it’s highly conducive for casual dates, or group gatherings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apostó. This is one of my top pick so far of the year! ???. This is a modern Italian restaurant where creativity and good taste take place. Really delicious dishes in a simple casual but chic ambient. Perfect place to bring your friends, partner or even your whole family. Their opening hours are from 5pm till 11pm. Totally recommended. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love how playful and creative the chef setup the dishes and recipes, bringing out the taste and texture of each ingredients. The fun side also shown with their open kitchen style, where the curious diners can sit front and center, to witness their dishes being prepared. The place is great for gatherings and events, and the ambience is nice and relaxing. Love how the dishes are well explained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful dining experience. The setting is understatedly elegant and cosy. Service attentive and warm. We were seated at the counter and Chef Chu was as charming as his food. Started off with the small plates of mushroom & pesto and polpette, both had flavour and texture bouncing off our palates. Followed by the braised duck pasta where the handmade pasta was made just right and soaked up the ragu, duck tenderly braised. The lasagnette, again, texture and flavour through sight and taste. Tiramisu was constructed so cleverly, not too sweet, light and particularly loved the coffee meringue. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and definitely will be back to try chef's other offerings.
