★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten Char Kway Teok here over the last 3 years whenever I have had chance to visit KL. The uncle COOKED Live in front of us with the old fashioned cooking tools.
Char Kway teok here has cockles and original chilipaste that you cant find anywhere else. The halkwer has been established many decades ago and the real value of it is at the heritage of the place and fresh ingredients. The owner is an old uncle, i was told that he inherited the place from his father.
It is a MUST to TRY plate!
But he opens for only 2-3 hours each day I think. 9am-11am ususally. Many times I came there and the stall was closed :(
