★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one my favourite cafes in city center of kl. Do book early or you may need to go early to line up for a table. They can be quite busy on peak hours. We went for their Christmas Eve dinner. Their coffee is good as usual. Highlights of the menu would be the salmon and mille feuille. I find the cold capellini just ok. Maybe the cold part is not really my thing. On the bright side, scallop was fresh and executed well. Loved the pan seared salmon which was cooked really well and tasted great with the avruga caviar and asparagus. I actually preferred it over the herb crusted, soy braised wagyu karubi. Not loving the wagyu consistency as it’s braised. Mille fueille was lovely and matcha/hojicha long blanc was fine. For regular menu, I also love their egg royale, salmon tatami rice bowl, beef burger, smoked duck bao and matcha/hojicha latte.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambience & intereur design are very nice. Service is friendly and alert. I'm most controversial about the food. Well rounded menu and good food / ingredient quality. But execution and taste were a bit disappointing. Sorry don't know how else to describe my experience..

Seemingly mundane items on the menu like the beef burger is pleasantly enhanced by the addition of trufle fries.
Similary, the chicken karaage by itself is nothing to shout about, but when dipped in the aioli accompaniment, bursts with balanced flavors in the mouth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So 4/5 is for their food quality, presentation and taste. Consistent and presentable. 3/5 for their price, since all food averagely cost around RM 30-40. Their food selection if quite limited, so you wont be picking your food like you do for a life partner. Their coffee if going for the higher range cost up to RM 30 for those special beans. Must be really special, maybe can make you rich or help u score a hole in one. 5/5 for their waiters service. All warm and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch with a friend and was not expecting much other than the place having great ambience. We were served by a very friendly waiter who recommended us the food that are shown in this review. Everything from the chocolate drink (which they said the chocolate was from Sabah) to the soft shell crab bao was amazing! Honestly thought the serving was small but we ended up not being able to finish the pasta.
I would probably recommend this place as a place to catch up with old friends or a celebration but probably not for a casual lunch if you're on a tight budget as the prices of the food and drinks here are on the higher end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ambience, great service. Visit here with my friend for her birthday celebration and we are glad we visited this cafe! Foods are tasty and delicious but their mocha isn’t to my like. French toast taste unique and different from the usual roasts we had before. Soft shell crabs Bao taste good!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall it was a pleasant brunch!
The bread was very tasty but the smoked salmon tasted a little weird. It would be best if the salmon tasted better. The french toast was amazing. Coffee and choc drink were not perfect.
Not pocket friendly but it is understandable given the location. The service and staff were superb. They were very attentive, refilling water, changing plates when our plates were dirty. ??????
We will be back again for other food!
